2023 Season Riders Without Clubs.

Recommended Posts

As the season is just about upon us and some fresh riders have come on the scene. It’s inevitable that some riders are going to be frozen out this season. Or will be waiting in  the wings to replace an injured rider. We desperately need more clubs.

So I’ve compiled a list, if anyone can add  or subtract from it I would appreciate it. So here goes :-

Theo Pijper  Broc Nicol  Dillon Ruml  Max Clegg  Matthew Wethers Kasper Anderson  Drew Kemp

Tero Arnio  Ricky Wells  Josh Auty  Troy Batchelor  Bradley Wilson Dean  Edward Kennett Aaron Summers & Finally Rohan Tungate.

Theo Pijper  James Sargeant  Broc Nicol  Dillon Ruml  Max Clegg  Matthew Wethers Kasper Anderson

Tero Arnio  Ty Proctor  Ricky Wells  Josh Auty  Anders Rowe  Troy Batchelor  Bradley Wilson Dean  & finally Edward Kennett.

At least 5 of those have retired, two have declared they aren’t riding in the UK and another two have long term injury issues.

If you would kindly mention which riders you mean then I will deduct them from my list

I'd have thought the only way to do it comprehensively initially is to include all riders who were in a 1-7 at some point in 2022 and then remove them from that starting point.

Connor has a spot with Workington. Unless that has changed(?) Guessing Clegg's NL average has scuppered him of an NL team at least.

Just checked and Connor Bailey is listed for Workington. Now removed from list. Thanks.

I was aware that Bailey had signed for Workington but feel the main thrust of this thread is looking at riders who have been squeezed out of the Championship by lowering the points limit to 40. If you agree with this then perhaps Dan Thompson should be added as he has no Championship team, though he is with Leicester in the top flight.

Looking at all 3 leagues. That’s why the thread is posted in discussion section.

Of this list of riders I wonder how many have been asked to race in 2023?

Although it's good to see Dan riding in the Premiership as a rising star, surely he is, without question, Championship material. The mad maths that has him riding in division 1 and 3 but not 2 is a bit bonkers.
