Predictions for Prem 2023 as teams stand ...

Recommended Posts

Evan as a witches fan I would say Sheffield have the strongest overall package,, especially when you take into account their home advantage. Bellego will score like another number 1 at home,,, where as Riss won't be scoring like a number 1 at home,, also Kerr will score reasonable points everywhere,,, not so sure we could say the same of Rew/Hume

I think we can all agree this is the toughest prediction of who comes where for a long long time. Every team has a case for making the play offs. I keep changing my predictions every day. It's actually fantastic. Didn't want Leicester to move up initially but now I'm a little bit more excited for the season ahead.

The best time to catch us (Ipswich) will be early doors. Riss delayed his surgery on his ACL until the new year so he could go on holiday, will he be 100% fit? Footballers can take over a year recovery time from an ACL and although sitting on a bike is nowhere the same as running around a football pitch, you still wouldn’t wanna fall off and land on it would ya. Rew is coming back from a broken bone in his neck and back, hasn’t ridden any of the tracks and if he’s stuck at 2, will come up against Doyle Pedersen and Andersen in his first heat here so it’ll be tough to put it mildly. Then you’ve got Emil who has been out of action for a year and may take a few meetings to get in to top gear. We might just get caught cold first few meetings and if we do we shouldn’t hit the panic button. The team will undoubtedly get stronger as the weeks and months tick by.

Early season double again for the panthers then :-)

U need to ride a small track week in week out to get to grips with it ...like Lindgren did ..And look how he turned out ...

So it’s gonna take him take him time, if it takes him half a season they’ll be dead and buried by then. And how long did it take Freddie to master Monmore? Much longer than that. He may take to it straight away but there are no guarantees it will happen.

Wouldn’t rule it out at all, although Pedersen himself may take a bit of time to hit top gear also after his injury.

I think that’s what’s so appealing about the coming season. A lot of question marks, no clear favourite, big names returning. Excitement is building!

Hopefully it won't happen,,, but if any team loses their number 1 next season,,, apart from Lynn,,,, they have had it,,, with only basically Cook and Batch waiting in the wings.

Wouldn’t have said either of those is very suitable alternative but as you say, who else is there?  Holder maybe, as long as it’s not one of Busters teams!

Wouldn’t be a like for like as Doyle would be impossible to replace so would have to be a few changes to completely restructure the team in our case.
