Predictions for Prem 2023 as teams stand ...

Recommended Posts

This is really tough to predict!!

Sheffield

Ipswich

BV

Leicester (I am going on their Championship form mind you!)

Peterborough (Might swap with Leicester depending who is No1).

KL (Might but then in a higher place in a few hours lol - strength in depth but not as strong at the top as others, so depends how good Alex is at making the most of reserves being able to have 7 rides). Oh and they have KK ;)

Wolves.

Ipswich

The other 6 also rans ;)

Only kidding , I actually think it's a very tight and competitive league. Extra strength all over and much more worthy of being a 'top' division than has been seen for some time

With the teams now complete bar one rider at Ipswich (Hume) and Peterborough (Pedersen/Laguta), I think it safe to make a proper prediction now.

1. Sheffield
2. Ipswich (King and Rew will flourish with the top 2 duo of Doyle and Sayfutdinov)
3. Belle Vue
4. Peterborough
5. Leicester
6. Kings Lynn
7. Wolves (will be woefully exposed and I don’t think their home form will save them either)

Either way with riders such as Bewley, Kurtz, Doyle, Sayfutdinov, Pedersen/Laguta, Iversen, Fricke, Harris, Holder, Musielak, Bellego… we are in for a fantastic season’s racing. :)

I don’t normally get involved with these because I’ll give it 3 weeks in to the season before someone makes changes! But purely on the teams that start and assuming Pedersen is in at Peterborough,

Ipswich, Sheffield, Lynn and Peterborough top 4 not necessarily in that order. Only team I can’t see troubling the play off places as it stands is Wolves.

I thought Lynn's team might get top 4 when it was announced. But there some good teams being assembled since. Best No.6 in the league, but i worry about KK.We will need to be taking a lead into the later stages of meetings.

Sheffield

Ippo

BV

P'boro

Lynn

Wolves

Leicester
