Ovalman
My bruv, from Swindon with Robins prog board, now living in Adelaide, was there. Said meeting was held up for nearly an hour because of bad crash. Ellis won final by wheel, and Woffy put on a performance. Old Swindon 1-

Went to Gillman in 2008 on holiday & saw a few meetings. Ivan Mauger Meeting (won by Philip Sitera) was one. Also managed to get to Murray Bridge (Cars + sidecars no bikes unfortunately. Plus International WSS series on the Boxing day. They were good. Drivers came over from USA & New Zealand for the series.

iris123
What is the point of this meeting ? Is it a qualifier for anything, with its FIM title ? Or just another meeting. Not a great line up, especially without the two British riders

Technik
Strange to see riders listed by state & not national in an FIM event & not a Kiwi on the card. I see the name Schlien within the U16 support & have to ask if this is the son of Rory?

I think I saw him once at Wolverhampton.

It would have been better to ship in BWD and/or George Congreve. I don't know which other nations could qualify as Oceania other than Aus & NZ. The SEC champion moves into the SGP series if this championship were to include the rest of the world then we might see USA Canada Argentina & South Africa represented with a GP place on the line.
