Frequently.

Since 5 July 2019 Smith has ridden 16 away NL matches and only scored double figures twice. He is just not very good away from home.

(One of his rare double figure scores was at Oxford last year)

Yet Jack Smith frequently says in interviews he's looking for a Champ (or even Prem) team spot.

He'd certainly have a better chance of he can score double figures home & away.

So far there's only been one away win in the league, if that keeps up, nearly every team will be in with a shout of the top 2!

Thinks that highly likely to be a continuing trend. Away wins will be a big boost to any side but aggregate points even more key. Oxford still in with a great chance but when its so tight why be stubborn /gamble on Fellows.

Maybe they're happy to give him time as it's a development league?

Jack Smith needs a reality check, the amount of chances he has been given.Bottom line he is just not good enough to cut it other than NDL level.Even then is questionable when the going gets tough.

The Chargers have signed Kelsey Dugard, who replaces Jacob Fellows in the team.

I still think Workington look the strongest, but definitely makes Oxford far more potent. Really is a hard league to call, as you'd want it to be.

Agreed. A very strong team once Killeen comes back…. 1. Jenkins, 2. Clouting, 3. Atkins, 4. Scott, 5. Kinsley, 6. Dugard, 7. Killeen

Certainly boosts any hopes they hold. Probably the worst year to have only 2 play off spots as arguably a top four of Oxford, Leicester,  Worky and Mildy with any capable of taking the title on the right day

Or is it the best time to have only 2 teams make the play-offs? As I see it there are 3 teams stronger than the rest: Leicester, Oxford & Workington. If 4 qualify for the play-offs any fixtures between these sides have less importance as you know they'll both qualify. As it is these meetings now become far more important & interesting as only 2 of the 3 can qualify?

With Belle Vue, Edinburgh & Mildenhall all looking strong at home, it's a very interesting league, I'd have preferred no play-offs.

Oxford will want Killeen back sooner rather than later (obviously) as he could be the difference in them finishing 2nd or 3rd. Is there any suggestion of how long he'll be out for? Gotta couple of winnable away matches at Edinburgh & Berwick with him in the team, but without him looking for close results to get the bonus points in the return fixtures

In an interview with Peter Schroeck at the Berwick meeting last night, it sounded highly unlikely that Luke Kileen will be back racing again this season. Bad news for the Chargers if that's the case (although it should mean they will be strong again next year as he'll keep his 3.00 average).

That's shame. Hot favourites with Killeen in the team in my opinion.
