RS50
I believe that the British reduction only counts for team building averages, and not for deciding who goes at number 1, or reserve. Anyone confirm or deny?

I thought the same, and I know that it was that way in the past, but on making enquiries to the relevant persons, I got this reply:- "....if a British rider is lower with his discount than an overseas rider, the overseas rider will be number 1 until the first set of green sheets that the British rider gets a new average." I think this interpretation/rule change only came into effect in 2023, as has been pointed out by others recently.

Is it the presumption that the example used to clarify the scenario is where the British riders actual average is initially higher than that of the overseas rider but once the discount is applied the adjusted average becomes lower? The best way to think of it, is riders have ONE average, their starting average. Ignore last year's finishing average if it's any different.
