Final 2022 averages

the final 2022 rider averages are now out (Issue 24) on the BSPL website. They have had the Newcastle scores removed but still need to have the 2.5% Brit reduction applied where appropriate

If you go with an all British team you can build to just over 41,I wonder if that's considered when putting a team together. Does the British reduction apply to 2pointers,or is 2 the lowest average permitted?

2.00 is the minimum for Brits. 3.00 is the minimum once a Brit has averaged above 3.00, so that should be Bickley's ave not 2.93

3.00 - 2.5% = 2.925

Every other Brit shows their final ave, not including reduction, so it wouldn't make sense for Bickley to be listed as 2.93?

I'm under the impression it's a mistake & he should be on a 3.00 ave.

As Basso is shown as 8.52, it looks like Glasgow's last meeting at Plymouth isn't included - after all the aggravation and restaging involved !
