I have no issue with him coming back. That was just one meeting so feels a bit harsh to say 'no thanks'. Most of the season he was fine and average increased by 1.5 points. As Danny Ford explained - The final leg at KL was the last time all the riders would be together and some were asking to be told about 2023 team places so they could pursue potential places elsewhere if necessary. Diamonds85 Posted December 20, 2022 Report Share Posted December 20, 2022 James Wright was brilliant and consistent riding for the Diamonds, mostly in a heat leader position too, so I would not be surprised if his average was lowered once his Newcastle results came off, he would've been one of the first names on my team sheet if we still existed, along with Max and Matty again...
