1 Kyle Bickley 9.48
2 George Rothery 4.92
3 Danny Phillips 6.43
4 Archie Freeman 5.26
5 Adam Roynon 6.00
6 Paul Bowen 4.56
7 Jack Shimelt 3.00
    39.65
    0.35

Not sure what the limit will be

That team would probably win the league! But also highly illegal as Roynon’s average is now 8.67.

I hope the comets can pull this off. The track looks absolutely fantastic . I wonder with Leicester dropping out they could be looking at Saturday night speedway? Maybe a season in the NL then work towards the championship?

sat nights not favourite at the moment . prob sunday afternoons

When will it have lights fitted?

Was an issue with electric supply parts been stolen by the traveling  people, which on the same time / nite as being pinched caused a blackout at Asda, not far away, then a cash machine got stolen, local police still to decide if it was linked, plods not very bright in Workington!!!

Not heard if the electric supply was being re-installed as a very high cost was quoted by the electric supply firm .

If I came up to see the new track, I would probably come up for the weekend. Question to THJ, as it appears you like a drink. Where could I go nearby for a good night out ?

Sorry been busy

As @Neila said New Worky Travel Lodge 10 mins walk to Northside and that's even using the same Zimmer  @geoff100 uses and 10 mins walk into town to the main drag for a drink in Worky... Not been since Covid 19 started but there is a Wetherspoons and the run along the main strip in front of the other hotel called The Washington Central Hotel is a good night if you get your timings right as the place is like Whitley Bay in Newcastle every one moves at certain times to the next bar and there are several drinking establishments  usually starting at The Curwen; Dukes Bar; 32 Bar; Soul Suite; 2 Bar: Ship Inn: The Well: The Junction; Padua's Bar all within 300 metres then the hotel is about 50 metres away from them all (so no Zimmer required) and the British Legion if you carry a club card  or you could stay in the Golden Lion in Maryport and there are 8 bars within 100 meters of that spot with an excellent curry house in the Maryport Tandoori (Ali the owner is a sound guy) but about a 5/6 mile run to the Northside track; however you are more than welcome there if you want to tie in for a beer or two no problem... well that's my bit for the Cumbria Tourist Board...

I wont be the team manager we have a young and thrusting young chap lined up for that role... keen as mustard he is...

Saturday or Sunday afternoon racing to start with which will be decided at the first Management Committee Meeting in the Golden Lion at Maryport on the 25th of November 2022 and if anyone wants to get any information first hand we will be in the Bar once the meeting is over hopefully by 9pm at the latest... any and all are welcome for a beer...

After a fight the Electric Company are putting a transformer back in but we will have to wire up to a feed pillar next to it...

Finally cables for floodlights being priced up now however this will be one of the biggest investments we will have to make so maybe not the first season to race under lights but it will come eventually and anyone looking to be a sponsor lets have a chat and anyone wanting to invest lets have a chat and anyone wanting to fund a foray into the Championship lets have a chat as any and every option will be explored...

Regards
THJ

Bloody hell, a pint in all the bars mentioned in Worky will put me into double figures & wobbly territory lol. Would definitely give it a go if we make it up next year though.
