So a seated season ticket is averaging out at over 20quid a meeting. Almost scared to see what going to be charging per meeting

Something like £198 +£8 booking fee for standard season ticket for the guaranteed 11 meetings. To be any kind of a deal better than paying each week, the pay at the gate rate looks like being £20.

Yeah plus at least 2 quid for a seat. Saying that paid nearly 70quid to watch my fitba team get beat 7-1 this year so in comparison lol.

Didn't under 16s used to be free or has it always been under 12s?

You are not saving much now with a season ticket and you used to get 3-4 matches extra.

This may explain one or two things that went on in the past season with your No 1

I was wondering when this story was going to come out.

At the moment the local rag has not made the connection, in the past the said person featured in the paper when he done well or moved teams in the top flight

The Cumbrian strangler.

Now there’s a title for any up and coming movie director.

Not knowing the facts behind it it must have been a weight on his shoulders for most off the year.

Last season, a season ticket barely registered a saving at all. It does mean if you can't guarantee being at every single meeting, a season ticket isn't worth it.

Trouble is they can only guarantee it on the minimum of 11 matches, which virtually makes a substantial saving impossible.

Suppose you will not lose much if it all goes Pete Tong as well.

They could always charge less for a season ticket in the first place if there are only 11 matches guaranteed, hence making a substantial saving possible.

Back their original team building choices and, therefore, take the gamble that extra meetings will be forthcoming further down the line, knowing full well that people should be likely to turn up for 'big occasion' events when they occur.

Season Tickets and Speedway have never been a good combination IMO.Dodgy weather and fussy riders could mean a lot of unwanted travel for me.

It's not minimum 11 matches guaranteed, it's just 11 matches. Get past KO Cup 1st round or the playoffs you have to buy a ticket

The season ticket costs £X for the 11 guaranteed meetings. If you have a season ticket you get entry at a reduced season ticket holder price for additional meetings.

Definitely didn’t happen but a bloody good idea. I believe with the season ticket you’re saving around £1.5 a match and 5p off a program, but what has been stated you miss one match you’re not saving anything. For me it’s about paying upfront and not having to find £40 on a Friday night for tickets.
