Teeside silver helmet beat masters, Douglas, Starkey, passed Edwards (on his own track) and clegg.

That'll do me, welcome to the stripes young man

Was good in the Teesside silver helmet too.

Good signing I reckon.

He beat Masters and Douglas at silver helmet meeting at Redcar

Remember Bernie Lacrosse beating Ivan Mauger in the second half at The White City. Sadly he never repeated this form. It is to be hoped that Ace is shown the same patience as BobbyBeaton got in his first season.

I don't think be any pressure on him. Beat opposing no.7 at home and occasional 2nd string.

Leave him to develop and continue in the NDL will reap the benefits

Like when Cooper beat Greg Hancock in an outing just before signing for sheffield, if my memory serves me right!

Looks to be a very good and capable rider, and with this being said I'm not knocking the lad at all bit he did finish on a 7 point average. Which in all honest is a great feat in his first season, but arguably there's riders in the national league that averaged better than Ace but couldn't cut the mustard in the championship.

I just really hope the lad doesn't feel the pressure and can focus on developing and improving, but I do think when you're riding for a club like Glasgow that are really focused on winning the league that can be quite difficult.

Good signing on a 2.will achieve that.I don’t go for this “ too young “ theory just keep his head down and he will do Ok this season and Definately one for the future with the little bit of luck you need in the sport and he has the right people by his side who know the sport inside out.

It was noticeable last season for the Bullets that his set-ups were always good and he was smooth and stylish.

Only time Bomber will ride at Glasgow next season is when he visits with Birmingham.

And guests for in no particular order.

Berwick.

Edinburgh.

Redcar.

Scunthorpe.

Plymouth.

Oh poor Gaz. Clutching at straws I see. Just going to have to get used to the idea that Harris is probably going to be at Glasgow. Every week.

I am assuming Birmingham are the club that are getting annoyed about being linked to him? We shall see.

1. Benjamin Basso 8.52

2. Claus Vissing 5.00

3. Tom Brennan 6.70

4. Marcin Nowak 5.00

5. 8.35 (D. King, S. Worrall or Lawson)

6. Theo Pijper 4.43

7. Ace Pijper 2.00

8.35 is insufficient to accommodate Harris (8.98 less Brit Reduction of 0.22 makes him 8.75).  Even if  Theo Pijper qualifies for a reduction his 4.32 still doesnt create enough room for the decidedly unwanted Harris. Anyone know of Theo's status?
