At home maybe. Nowak struggled to score a point at every track he visited except maybe Poole. Throw in that he's in main body of the team and not reserve there's another variable don't know how will go.

We obviously need a replacement for cookie to support Ben but definitely don't see the benefit of Harris.

He only had one run at Edinburgh and Berwick where he scored poorly, as far as I can see he’s moved up to #1 at the polish team he’s moved to so is clearly improving and I agree with you on the moving up from reserve but we have to try something and I’m guessing on a 5 the people at Glasgow thinks he’s worth the risk.

I also understand the disappointment in the potential Chris Harris appointment but the reality is with Ben at 5 on an 8.5 who else could we get in at one under a 9 average??

choices are limited, bomber, Danny, Scott Nichols, Steve worral or Richie lawson. I’m guessing Poole will be keeping the better of the three Poole riders so that only leaves Danny, Scotty or Bomber and like it or not Bomber scored far more last season than the other two.

with the removal of unlimited guarantees (as best as they can) I’m assuming the incentive to score points may be greater than it was in 2018 so hopefully he will replicate what he did for Berwick this year and pretty much every team he guested for.

There's no doubt Harris had a very good season last year, and was good on his visits to ashfield. I'm just of the opinion that ben will probably lose up to a point off his average start of season, and Harris likewise. He loves Berwick and is track specialist there at a track not everyone likes, that's not the same for ashfield.

And if you're talking about complin/ a new Aussie & a 2 pointer at reserve I genuinely don't see that as a team will challenge next season.

Harris could be useful in bringing on Ben especially as they have ridden together at Peterborough.

I have to say I'm more concerned about the tail end of the team given that in the past it seemed a lot of young riders were unwilling to travel to Glasgow. To that effect Ace Pjiper would be worth a punt but I'm sure Edinburgh and Berwick will have him in mind too.

Again your right with Ben, he’s going at 5 instead of 4/3 last year, but I wonder if riding in the ekstraliga may increase his overall performance we’ll have to wait and see. His home scoring was ridiculously high and at least we know it’s going to be exciting to watch.

I don’t think Lee Complin will be there at 6, I genuinely can’t see who it could be on 4 points and for sure it’ll be 2 points at reserve.

if we stick with the strong reserves like we have done In the last two seasons we’re going to probably end up in the same scenario as we have done up until now.

Poole are going to go with Richie Lawson, Ben Cook and Steve Worrall at 1,3,5 with Zach at reserve (he won’t be there long unless his form dips around June/July ) so how do we counter that??

id say Bomber, Ben and Brennan can do it. We just have to find a 6 that can counter Zach and have a 7 that’s better than there’s ( I would be blown away if Nathan Ablitt stays).

Harris had a 9.66 / 8.64 split which is fair. His away average is much the same as his starting ave, so in a weaker league shouldn't drop it at all.

Basso may find it harder to retain his ave, riding at 1 or 5, but as he's an improving youngster on the up, think he'll be fine as a heat leader.

According to Glasgow FB page, next signing announced at 7.30pm tonight

Wouldn't it be nice if Promotions actually treated the fans with some respect and named the whole team at once rather than treating us like children and teasing us with one name at a time?

If they announced the entire team in a oner what would we have to discuss for the rest of the month??

A lot of talk about the possibility of Tom moving to Birmingham……..I’ll be fair disappointed if he doesn’t return to us for another season.

I'd be very shocked if he wasn't back at Glasgow. Was captain last season and I believe has been quoted as having unfinished business at Glasgow.

But, equally I understand the 10 hour return journey every week can be grating and having club on your doorstep will be tempting

Danny and Steve have lower averages than Basso though. So Ben would be No1.

He was actually 4th in his teams averages. Just rode at number 1.
