Seems to come with a bit of baggage. Think stoneman & mulford all I can see from a quick scan through the NL fixtures. Coles and Kinsley be nearer 3s I'd guess. If looking long term Freddie hodder or Jody Scott if team set up like Poole this year and no pressure on no 7? Not sure the mcgurks are ready but might find a few of these riders thrown in this season with reduced points limit

Coles would be on a 2.00 ave. He would be the best option along with Mulford or Stoneman imo.

Riders like Scott or Hodder would be more useful if being signed up as an asset, but I would say it's too early for Championship racing in 2023.

His away has been a struggle.

That’s not what I’m saying though. He is worth a lot more points at Home even if he is not in a reserve berth.

Is it worth a rider having a high away average though?

Bailey has a 6.31 / 3.53 split. Hume was 5.39 / 5.73.

So if Bailey has a higher away ave would he not also be dropped like Hume was?

I’m sure Tigers fans would take Bailey based on his home form,he can can beat some very good oppositions top men at Ashfield.

Especially as Bailey's home ave is almost 2 points higher than his starting ave (4.40) while his away is less than 1 point lower!

Hume's home figure of 7.04 includes bonus points. 19 of them. His GSA figure is 5.39, lower than his away figure, which surely makes him a more valuable rider, as it gives his team a better chance of an away win. Away points win prizes!   Just a pity is overall average is too high.

Just checked my maths, and it was wrong. Three riders, 18 points. Basso, Bailey (seems the be the assumption - perhaps he will be the rider unveiled at the next Tigers Plus event), and a rider who might not be officially signed but I believe will be there on a 5 point average.

A Dane that was signed and lowering his average for next year in July/august time by any chance.
