Glasgow 2023

Recommended Posts

I watch too much Yes Minister.  To try to rip off a Bernard Woolley Quote:-

Glasgow find loopholes in the rules

You bend the rules

Poole cheat and moan (tongue firmly in cheek!)

I suspect this might have been another Michael Max masterpiece - his knowledge of the rules has always been phenomenal

Assuming the authorities dont find a reason to block this signing aswell, why can he not start for another fortnight?

Because then it's after the Scunthorpe fixture but before the Oxford one :D

This is beautiful

Poole fans all up in arms because another side have the foresight to make a good change

Poole speedway the team who have cheated and bent the rules over the years complaining when another team acts within the rules

Lovely to see the Poole mob crying

People talk about a village being missing an idiot, Poole must have an electric fence to keep them in.

As a matter interest of Tarasenko's Prem average is 6.45 as of 25/8.

Does that affect anything? Honest question.

Won't kick in until 7 days later so I presume if he is signed and ratified before that date it will be the assessed average.

Tarasenko 5.00 (until Monday when he goes up to 9.67) is a straight swap for Nowak (5.42)

Perfectly legal.

Now what does that say about the rules?

Didn't Tarasenko get a "real" average immediately after Monday Aug 21 when he completed his third home meeting for Peterborough?  Premiership riders need 3H and 3A to get an average

No. His new average is from 28 Aug - see latest greensheets. Nothing irregular about that, it's how it has always been.

7 days after his last qualifying meeting.

p23_issue_27.pdf    ..... 6.45 PL average equates(x 1.5) to 9.68(rounded up)CL average

I thought assessed riders couldn't guest until an average is obtained so why would Wojdylo be on his way to Plymouth before turning back?

In theory, any club in this league with an assessed 5 pointer could have made this move.

In reality, only a few could afford to do it.

Correct. One club, two at a push as you said could afford to do so.

Crazy the rule even exists, think this move will put an end to it for next season.
