So can't see him wanting to wind up Poole fans over Glasgow!! Yes, I do realise that. But tbf everyone wants to wind up Poole fans over something! I can't see Poole letting anyone talk to Lawson in Sept when they might not have decided who out of the heatleaders they were planning to have next year. Richie lawson is the highest performing out of the 3 heat leaders at Poole. Wouldn’t completely rule it out as unlikely as it may seem. I think he is settled at Poole so I would be very surprised If this happens. To be fair to Blobby he gets a lot more right than wrong and I had also heard this rumour a few weeks back. He’s a great lad. 51 minutes ago, Cast1rn said: Will masters stay? I know he’s been there since 2016, but fitting him or Nick Morris in anywhere is going to be tight. I now think that’s doubtful, having recently had another wee one, the travelling may be too much.

It's not football lol..you think riders don't talk to clubs during the season without permission from the club own their contract? Most riders are set up by September, they don't want the long winter wait. I can't be sure it will happen same as you don't know it won't happen until such times as an announcement is made. And as been said blobby gets a lot of this stuff right
Mr Blobby
9 hours ago, Gazc said: With the rumoured 40 point total Masters and Cook would take up a lot of that. Depends if that’s the way they choose to build , Masters is sure to return it has been a good fit for him and the club. It is down too a numbers game after that. Don’t think masters returning is as certainty compared to other years. Think with having the two kids now a championship club closer to home might suit. Seemed quite emotional when making his speech at the dinner dance at the weekend as if it could possibly be a goodbye.

If he wanted to go to Glasgow sure will make Matt and Dan's decision on letting someone from top 3 go and keep Steve and Danny, as long as they are both happy to stay of course! Would have a chuckle if Basso's replacement ends up at Glasgow with him!

Could always put the loan fee up a bit as compensation? Imagine selling a rider and then next season having to pay out to use him the next season. Quite amusing

Quite amusing Never sold him it was a straight swap with Basso. If Basso is doing Prem next season as I am sure he is, then there will be a loan fee for that It would offset any outgoing loan fee. Will be quite interesting what way Glasgow go if no Basso and CC. As on the podcast they made out that Glasgow are desperate for a league title. SteveLyric2
With Lawson signed up in Poland with all they demand, why would he go to a weekend track in UK, especially with a limit on guarantees? I've worked off a 39 point limit based as middle of the rumoured limit changes and think looks a decent side. 1. Blodorn/Lawson 2. Vissing/ Starkey 3. Kye Thomson 4. Danyon 5. Tom 6. Connor 7. Sam hagon If 40 could potentially have vissing and Starkey over Connor? I know couple of "false averaged" guys in there!! But surely Starkey and vissing are better than 5 averages in a lower quality league? I'd also love basso back I just don't see it happening unfortunately I think Glasgow without Cook would be a good move for both. If Sam Hagon is keen to try his hand in the Championship I would expect somewhere nearer home to be the choice for Sam & his "team".

I have nothing against the lad because he always seemed a nice guy but i'm glad about this news as i think there are better riders on lower averages (Dan Gilkes springs to mind if he's injury free) along with young Danish and Swedish riders on 5-point averages (such as Kevin Juhl Pedersen if he's available.)
