Course it is, they have beaten Glasgow in the Play Offs last year and this and have generally been the benchmark for other sides since dropping down. So not really weird.

Exactly was trying to simplify it for Lisa.

As a Glasgow fan I find my respect diminishing daily.

Why just Poole? Any team that comes to the tapes have to been considered potential champs.

They are seeing it as Poole is the benchmark as the team to beat after the past couple of seasons and they have. I get what your saying but Poole are the team all clubs aspire to topple from there perch.

I can’t see anything wrong at all with what they say.

MPT is injury prone so I would leave him alone.

Nowak I'd welcome back in a moment as I would Paul Starke.

Foreign pasteurs may prove too strong a calling for Mr Brennan and I fear Ben will be stepping up everywhere else so can't see him back.

Attracting a 2 pointer willing to travel to Glasgow will be a major problem and I don't think any of the Devils or Bullets would do a job bar Ace Pjiper and he'll stay at Berwick.

Perhaps if cuts are needed cost and average wise 6 man teams should be considered especially after claims of not enough riders of a decent standard being available being voiced.

Who’s available for number one ?

In this week's Speedway Star, the Glasgow report states 'we are intent on putting together a strong side to beat Poole in the Championship in 2023'!!

So I guess it'll mean major surgery of this season's 1-7!?

Oh god there going to be tapping our riders up again

I wonder what Poole will do with the drop in averages, do you think they’re keeping Danny,Steve and Richie?

Can't see Poole, Leicester or Edinburgh (if the hopefully get a reprieve) being able to hold on to their heat leaders next season.

Ritchie Worral is reportedly going from Lions to Plymouth and I expect there will be a few changes elsewhere.

Shame successful teams have to be split up. Still think catch up should be the aim for weaker teams rather than diluting successful teams.

As it has already been announced that Leicester are moving to the PL, this does not apply.

Whether they can prise Morris away from Wolves, Worrall from KL & Howarth from Sheffield, is a different matter.

Howarth might be on Tigers wish list, always assuming the Facennas' have not been sufficiently scunnered by the BSPL, to continue running next year?

Silly me I completely forgot that said they were moving up.

The final part of your post I suspect is spot on , I mentioned a while back and felt they are completely fed up with the shambles that the BSPL have presided over.

I suspect we will still run but the BSPL are ripping the enthusiasm out of them.

Time for a breakaway league. :-)

Ok let’s see if I get this right.

Glasgow tapped up Basso even though a Wednesday track didn’t suit him.

Poole didn’t tap up Lawson after he made a commitment to Plymouth.

This about right Arthur.
