I remember Kyle Lagault was signed by Poole years ago but never rode for us. Did he get injured at the time and retired? If that was his first ever meeting back it was a very good effort.

Legault was exciting but had a habit of testing out the safety fence. Think was one too many knocks

Signed for Poole in the Premiership for 2009 but couldn’t ride as complications from a leg injury sustained the previous year ruled him out.

Any plans for covering any preseason meetings? @IanBrannan

Hi, I’m not involved with deciding fixtures etc and so far the plan for matches to be shown is in the process of being confirmed with the clubs.

Hopefully news of where we’re heading in the opening weeks of the season will be published as soon as we have it.

Out of interest, did you have any particular meetings in mind?!

A better signing was the Czech rider for Poole 2 years ago …never showed , but it was ok for them to use r/r for a couple of months until a better rider was sourced . Plymouth are looking at doing the same as the precedent has already been sent .

Ondrasik did sign and the paperwork was lodged with BSPL/SCB - all according to the rules.

The issue was with the Czech Govt who unexpectedly changed the travelling rules at the last moment due to COVID, which stopped him from ravelling back and forth!

It wasn't a Poole fan who introduced it, it was a Plymouth fan!! Surprise surprise.

Since its been nearly 4 weeks since the very lethargic Poole Speedway website posted anything meaningful (a generic BSPL message about Glasgow sponsoring the CL + a plea for someone to buy season tickets aside) may be they could crank up the valves and write someting interesting about "the bouncing cheques and the ones that got away)...:nono:

Another shout for BSN to show the Ben fund meeting, you could charge more with the extra profits over production costs going to the fund itself.

I am sure a lot of fan would be prepared to put their hands in their pockets to support this excellent cause.
