Jake Turner and Brayden McGuiness have both ridden in the UK.

Looked almost a NL strength line-up, but you can only beat the riders who are against you. A useful warm-up for Schlein, but doesn't give any hints about his form ahead of his comeback.

Pretty easy field for Rory, he should be winning it comfortably... Only other notable names to me is Maurice Brown and Brayden McGuinness who both rode in Poland last year... Obviously heard of a few of the others but don't know much about them
Fromafar
Surprised Berwick not having a warm up meeting before meeting Redcar in K.O.Cup.
Heedthebaw
You just need to look at the size of the crowd to see why most tracks don’t do ‘meaningless’ fixtures anymore,

Racing a Newcastle select like Redcar are doing would bring some Diamonds fans up you'd expect?

Bandit59
Interesting to see we've not gone for a strength in depth team this season, the same as Oxford, the only 2 teams to go with 2, 2pointers at reserve.

Depends how "deep" you look for "strength in depth" if you go to second strings Berwick have a strong top 5, whereas Oxford only have a strong top 3!

Wasn't comparing Berwick against Oxford was meaning both teams will always have 2 point reserves all season long.
Fromafar
Find it a bit strange that Bandits would want 1st match of season broadcast live on BSN.It’s the nearest thing to a local derby and important KO Cup fixture and would draw a lot of neutrals IMO.Still suppose they get money from BSN to compensate.First night crowds are normally good at most tracks.I know they did it last season, but that was Birmingham and probably wouldn’t have attracted the same away support that Redcar normally bring. Agree would surely be better if they had streamed a meeting with a team from further afield same at all tracks not taking in teams who are nearby. Beirao
Do teams have much say in deciding which meetings are streamed? With the geographical nature of the BSN Trophy sections, it's inevitable that local meetings will feature. How much do clubs get for having a meeting streamed and is it paid directly to them or is it added to the shared events fund and distributed at the end of the season.
