If Jorgensen is 9.53 I don't think you can fit Schlein on a 8.18 in unless you get another 2 pointer which is not going to work in my opinion.

2 x 2.00 riders could work if you have a strong top end. However I wouldn't call Jorgensen, Schlein & Flint a particularly string top end (I'd be expecting 2 of them to drop their averages).

Another thread where the Poole fans can't help turning it into their own thread.

Scheiln to Berwick does seem a weird signing if true though. Not really his kind of track is it?

Seems only to be a rumour at this stage and personally I hope it stays as that, just a rumour. Very poor signing if it turns out to be true, I think we have all seen Schlein`s attitude towards a track that is not to his liking so if he does want to make a track return I hope its with another team and the very best of luck to him and them.

If it’s dry and slick he’s fast round Berwick if he gates.

Do we really want to set up a track just for one rider, don`t Berwick realise that when we have slick conditions and turn a meeting a gating competition Berwick normally are on the wrong end of a hammering. I for one don't want to turn up every Saturday night to watch very little if any proper racing just because our No1 would spit his dummy if he doesn't get his own way.

I don't see 2x2.00 pointers working at all, you can manage one especially if most teams have one 2.00 pointer.

One option for Berwick would he to sign 2 x 2.00 reserves (Stoneman & Pijper) and build to the points limit.

Once Jorgensen has had one match he'll revert to a rolling ave from 2021, which could give Berwick 2 points to play with to strengthen up at reserve.

However after 2 matches Jonas Knudsen will get a 6+ ave & they'll only have one point to play with?

Gotta be clever with fixtures here, race the 1st league match on 22nd March & Jorgensen will get a new ave on 1st April. Then race a couple of KOC fixtures so Knudsen doesn't get a new ave straight away!

Is this how it works?

I have just read this topic from page 2 mainly through TJ signing for you.

Interested if past/recent averages are used from different leagues as the final averages (past) were based on 20 meetings.

Lambert signing for Belle Vue was his last Premiership average although signed towards end of the year, this last years averages were based on last 10, 12 or 14 league meetings. All getting too complicated.

Averages are far to complicated by changes rules every 5 min.

Too true as in this year. True averages based in 20 meetings was far better but I think all meetings should be taken in to consideration.

Hard on the heels of his Berwick signing Jonas Knudson signs for Pila in Polish Division 2.

Probably not doing our Premiership then.

Sat Berwick,  Sat/Sun Liga2, Tues Ekstraliga U24, Wed Denmark

"Once Jorgensen has had one match he'll revert to a rolling ave from 2021"

A riders most recent average is used, for Jorgensen that would be his 2022 Prem ave. But once he rides for Berwick they will then use his rolling ave. I'm theory he could get a new ave after one match (as would his teammates), but only if they ride before a monthly cut-off (23rd).

If Berwick's first league match was on 24th March, riders wouldn't get a new rolling ave until 1st May!

Brilliant start to team building. I hope Nathan and Jonas (or potentially brother Jesper) are the reserves...

I imagine Jorgensens average will be whatever his PL average converted by 1.5, which I think would put him somewhere in the 9s would it not??

Definitely no Bomber if that's the case...
