Got plenty time for Drew from his time at Edinburgh as he’s not a bad kid. But what’s his plan come the end of June when his polish season restarts. As I imagine those bikes will be going back across and if does plan on staying longer the month then what’s the plan equipment wise there.

It will give him time to get his own British bikes ready.

From BSN post:

Scunthorpe Scorpions Speedway boss Rob Godfrey has vowed “we can now win the league” after snapping up Drew Kemp.

Is he putting too much pressure on Drew? Overestimating his teams ability? Just being positive (as any promoter should be)? Or is he correct?

Watching the Scorpions demolish the Bears tonight I would be inclined to agree with Rob

The reasoning is wrong though. Drew only got 4? So even with Max it would have comfortable.

Yeah I’d agree not solely down to Drew however the team seem to be firing together now and are strong therefore should be near the sharp end

Good to see Conner Bailey starting to show his potential.Season away from Ashfield will help him IMO.Whether he will be back will be interesting.

A lot will depend on how much they drop the points limit by again.

Diluting it constantly is short changing the public.

Totally agree, and not really saving money as sought after, the lower average rider can up their demand for money

Absolutely It also punishes riders improving and potentially making them unemployable the following season it’s madness.

You also get some of the “older” top men protecting their average over the season for Employment next season.IMO ( no names). It's becoming a bit of a joke sport.

Scunthorpe will definitely be up there, they will be very strong at home and it makes a difference when riders like Lambert (no disrespect) can totally dominate riders with much higher averages.

Bit like Redcar they will also do well on certain away tracks but not sure they have the fire power to win it all. Poole still favourites for me.

Very impressed with Drew Kemp and Nathan at Ashfield tonight, after both being left with no team at the start of 2023 they've both proved why they deserved a teamspot for the season.

Yeah, they both impressed me tonight. Drew looked more focused and Nathan held his own, having been miles off the pace on all previous visits.
