Great start for Simon Lambert, has beaten Rowe, Newman & both Cooks. Should shut up the doubters lol!

Way to put the jinx on him! Was just going into the lead when he lifted at the wrong time in H10 and allowed both Poole riders to get passed him.

Had a chat with Simon Lambert before the meeting tonight. I like the guy. Straight talking no BS. I mentioned the online chat he did and he said Kemp was offered a berth but turned it down. Thinks he is above himself and after hearing the rumours of Kemp at Poole last year thinks they are better off without him.

I also heard another Championship team offered Kemp a place, but he wanted £10,000 signing on fee or two new bikes that were ready to race. The club passed.

A shame as I quite liked Kemp but he ruined his reputation very badly after the shenanigans of the second leg of the playoff final last year when he acted appallingly  after getting outwitted in heat 14 at Kings Lynn. He should have taken his defeat in that heat in good grace and celebrated with the team. Instead he had to be dragged out to the center green. Totally pissed off Danny Ford at the time.

Not surprised r/r is at 2 (as pretty much everyone does it). But don't think it's wise in this instance, as it means the one Scorpion who has the ability to beat any Pirate, gets his extra ride against 2 of the weaker opposition riders.

Although if Scunthorpe are expecting a drubbing & just want to make the score respectable, then it makes more sense to get a very likely 3 points in the heat 8 r/r slot.

I stick by my opinion that it wasn't wise to use r/r at 2. Douglas scored a maximum & can beat any Poole rider, but they use his extra heat to beat a second string & reserve! Not the best use of their top man imo

My first reaction to that was "who does he think he is Bartosz Zmarzlik"? Of course I don't know if that's true, but if it is - he'll never get a British club willing to pay that!

I guess if he's happy to give Britain a miss, why not ask for the world & see if you can get it?

I would guess that if any club needs or is desperate for that change then do they take a risk as the rewards are not guaranteed.

Interesting reading the report from last nights meeting where Rob G says “But one thing I full realise is that we’re not firing as many me complete unit at the moment and that cannot and will not be allowed to continue” sounds as if there maybe one or two changes once the 28days is up

Well that's pretty obvious, the two signings after 28 days will be gone. Rob said on the Poole stream" he is looking for riders out of the box".  Does that translate as someone from over the water???

Well thinking of out of the box riders - Danny Gappmaier, Josh Macdonald, Dillion Ruml, Broc Nicol ?? Maybe someone who’s never rode in UK time will tell

Well that would be a steal if he were to be a 5 average !

Should be until he gets a proper average in the Prem and is converted and not assessed. Not sure how many league meetings Ipswich have done til new averages are out.

Rew? He would only be a 5?

I would not have thought so but just looked at Premiership Table & results shows Ipswich have ridden 3H & 2A & are riding at home tonight. I think I am right in thinking that a new average come 7 days after 3H &3A have been completed but will need to be quick although it is said on other topics, mainly yours or your posters, that Rew was only interested in Premiership even though our league is the smallest it has been for years.

I am unsure whether both riders were signed on 28 day contracts as I know it was stated with Ablitt & am unsure whether 28 days has to be run or can be terminated.

I am sure that I have seen Max Ruml's name in an individual meeting line up in the International section either for last or this weekend so is over in Europe.

Even back to Gino?

If the two what have come are released will we more pts for changes and when is the cut off dates ?? As I’m sure both were on 28 day contracts

I have just checked gbspeedway site & last nights results have gone on so had to work it out.

5 riders have 32.45 + Clegg at 5.06 & Ablitt at 2.00 so roughly what we had before the changes.
