Sorry yes i forgot i must say Poole are the best thing since sliced bread!!

You have lost a top quality heat leader and you are hoping that Cook steps up...........he may or may not and all i said was he has an extra league to contend with so is a risk.....

I also said Poole will be there or thereabouts because they always make changes if needed

I also think that my side Ipswich will struggle if we dont get a big heat leader in to support Doyle

Trouble with all you lot down Poole you always believe you are the best and nobody can have a different opinion or they are a troll

I think I replied in a honest way, obviously I hope things work for the best outcome at Poole. As for Ipswich they have a good back for Doyle in King, I don't think they need a superstar signing to back up Doyle, he can win most meetings on his own!

Did he?? Must have missed them then! Just being negative as per..

He said that you look weaker than last season, that the Cooks need to step up and riding in the Prem might effect their form and that he doesn't think you will win the league without some changes. I think that's all fair enough and quite a few people would agree with that.

The cooks will be better  riders for riding in the prem ..not much in the 2 of them.....

Two points.

1. Why is everybody sold on the idea that Newman and Roynon will complete the team? The suggestion that Thomas will start at 2 could be a smokescreen if Plans A, B and C have been thwarted. With 8.18 left for two riders, perhaps Ruml and Ablitt (for example) could come back into the equation.

2. The Cook brothers tackle the Aussie Championship this week and I’m sure fair minded supporters won’t be expecting them to be hitting Finals given the strength of the field, however it will be interesting to see if they can take a few recognised scalps along the way as they build up to big UK seasons in 2023.

Poole tend to go for a decent  number 6 ....worked in the past ...

See wasn't so hard, was it?! ;):D

I just meant you are looking on the negative side of the Cook's riding in the Prem. Whereas I have been looking on the positive!

Not weaker in my view, Ben Cook can easily step up, he was riding like a heat leader at the end of the season and more racing will help in view, riding in the Premiership can only make him better.

I don't think we will need to make changes, we could have done last season with the way some of our riders were performing but we kept faith and it worked out pretty well. Also our number 7 is better, more experienced rider although I hope Ablitt will be back at some point in the future.

Some good teams in the league but the pirates always deliver in the end
