Do we know what his away average last season was like? Only thing is his average last season is mostly from riding at Leicester. Would need to give him a bit of time to settle in. Also are they allowed to ride in all 3 leagues?

Scored at no5 for Leicester at Poole 4+1 so looks like would be ok

Two broken vertebrae's a broken neck bruised lungs and broken ribs

Is the airfence at scunnyfit for purpose, seems to be alot of bad injuries when riders crash at the ewr,Dan gilkes and Jack Thomas unfortunately are examples of this, apparently its solid concrete directly behind the fence.

Best wishes to Jack Thomas for a full recovery, meanwhile Ipswich & Poole fans instead of worrying who will replace him how about getting some fund raising going to help the very unfortunate lad?

Yes, good idea.

Also in the local media it says Poole are going to take their time deciding what to do. So wouldn't expect anything this or next week.

It would be a little harsh to make a signing announcement immeadiately. As Danny Ford says, there are a few options available so no doubt discussions are already taking place.

There’s some lovely soft Armco barrier before you hit the concrete., you are buggered if the bike goes in first and lifts the air fence panel before you get there as Steve Worrall and a few others will tell you.

think they have now secured  tyres and wooden boards in front of the armco  fencing when speedway is on

It’s probably the least safest safety fence in the U.K. imo.

all the best to jack in his recovery lad hasn’t had much luck.

The request to Poole's REF Committee has already been made.

May be Jim Lawrence should get off his backside and get up there to check it then.

Rider safety is paramount.

Maybe they could ask NORA92 to offer some expertise.

Surely it would be prudent to move the air fence in 1m or more leaving a gap which would certainly lessen the chances of hitting the armco barrier Jack Thomas, Dan gilkes, Joe Alcock would certainly have had more of a chance imo. Zane Kennedy not so much as he went right over the top. As has been previously stated definitely needs some sort of investigation 3 serious crashes in less than 12months is not a coincidence !

Too busy trying to make out how unsafe Norra racing is to care about Scunny!

Poole are fortunate to have plenty of options, Kemp, D.Thompson & Rowe look the best options.

Bad news for Thomas who's had a few injuries sadly!

Jack's was 4.69 (5.24)

Is Rowe interested in doing UK though?
