Were Bournemouth in league one in that time though, so not surprising! Early 2000s we were prob getting 3-4k esp in summer hols. I remember 2k was considered a really low crowd!!

5-6000 at Poole back then. 3-4000 at Bournemouth in league 2.  Swindon Town had bigger crowds, still do really and are in league 2. But one of the players purchased yesterday for Bournemouth would buy STFC 10 times over. Yesterdays spending at AFCB is more than all the other leagues in europe combined. The Premier League is the European Super League in all but name only. No other league can compete or compare. AFCB outbid AC Milan for a player this window. They are near the bottom of the PL but in any other league the lineup would see them top 8.

They are the smallest PL team by a distance, but one of the richest clubs in the world due to their PL status and new ownership.

Ah yes they have a new American owner and didn't he say Bournemouth won't go down? So putting his money behind that statement. Even new Southampton owners have said if they go down, financially they would still be okay.

...and all thanks to the betting companies advertising spend with Sky/BT, which in turn goes to the clubs by way of broadcasting contracts!

If the Govt ever gets round to banning gambling advertising/sponsorship, then Sky/BT Sports and the Premiership clubs in particular will be well and truly f****d!!

Never going to happen. The PL is all powerful and any loss of revenue will be viewed badly by the millions of football fans who will rightly blame the government.

Pirates Season Tickets now available. £185 (Adults) for 11 meetings (8xChamps; 2x BSN;1x KO Cup) seems very good value compared to others that have already announced?!:t:

Plus 10% off in track shop and Invite to P&P day on 22nd March at 3pm.

Any news of general admission Skidder? I did hear on twitter it might be staying the same as last year. Which would be amazing as other clubs have put it up to £20

Yes Danny was trying to make it same as 2022 when I last spoke with him about my requirements for this season.
