Any Aussies with experience in professional league would come in on a 5 not a 4 I believe. Same for Fraser Bowes

I would even take him on a 5 if he could be accommodated, based on his performances in POL Lge 1 and especialy the POL U24 EXL last season.

These were his per ride stats in the POl U24 Exl which had its initial league season  in 2022. That's 9.852 per 4 rides against a  lot of the best young under 24 riders in Europesome who are  riding in POL EXL as juniors. That's out of 94 riders listed, Full list on https://speedwaynews.pl/ekstraliga-u24/statystyki/   for those statistically interested.

Considering the guy is only 19 - lost a lot of 2021 I believe with an injury and of course no 2020 season of note with Covid thats some pretty impressive stats, No wonder Leszno signed his as like a number 8 having sighted the potential.

Statistics

  Keynan Rew 10 54 thirty 16 3 1 0 0 3 1 125 8 2.463

Are you sure? I thought it was to increase by 0.1 each year which got delayed/deferred by Covid?

1.6 I believe with the aim of getting to a multiple of 2.

Cant think of many who have a PL average who haven't already got a valid CL average that would be feasible.

Having people like Crump on acl12v point average just doesn't work.

1.5

But an accurate conversion rate to reflect real life would be:

                                                           Champ average = (1.054 x Prem av) + 1.75                   [Linear regression*]

* I tried r squared and logarithmic correlations but neither gave a significantly better fit.

Baring any injuries we will be there or thereabouts again. The club is run with our fans expecting success and that will never change. Regardless of what the points limit is, we can almost guarantee that opposition clubs will have to raise their bar to compete with the Pirates.

Matt and Danny know the fans won’t accept mediocrity and only once or perhaps twice in Matts tenure did the team completely fail to deliver. The club is not run on good enough. It is run on expecting and demanding 110% and the riders thrive on it.

Not meant to sound as blowing our own trumpet but other clubs need to rise to the challenge. And the more that do so, the better the league and meetings.

There are lot of Poole haters on this forum, but at the end of the the day they run the Club as a business and in a Professional manner. They pay good money and expect full commitment from their riders which they get and the crowd levels stand up well in comparison to most Championship Track. They had the sense to drop down a division when they thought the Premiership was not viable for them.

Well done to them.IMO.

Looking at the averages Lee Complin on a 3.00 looks an absolute steal! Entertaining and I think he would put 2 points on his average no problem in 2023.  Also, if he commits to the championship for a full season Adam Ellis on a 7.13 would be a bargain too, if we have to lose 1 of our top 3, he would be a shoe in for the third HL berth.

I think Lee's average will be 4.00 not 3 due to Newcastle meetings being expunged and not doing 4 home and away to receive a new average.
