SUPERACE
Off to Sheffield hoping to end 29 years of pain. I still feel the Charles Wright crash will ultimately cost us the title, but here's hoping I'm wrong. Can the Aces have a leg of the final with no bad luck for just one meeting. Shockster
R/R for Wright. Is it only Zagar, Brennan and the reserves who can take his rides?

Yes only a former GP star , World team champion , German Champion and track specialist reserve guest that can take his place...

But the Aces' lawyers are on the case... Robert will be able to take two by around 7 o'clock..
Tinker
Quite a lot of doubt on here from BV supporters. I'm confident they can do it.

Same here, they've definitely got enough to pull it off but really can't afford any bad luck in terms of breakdowns etc. I'm expecting a cracker of a meeting and hoping for the right outcome, hope I'm not disappointed. Good luck to all those travelling over the Pennines, I used to love that drive over Woodhead on many Thursday evenings, always a good track to visit and plenty of close racing, the pits were accessible and you could really see what was going on in there. Call me wolfie
Suspect it’s going to be Sheffields night tonight, I expect them to be level on aggregate by heat 10 at the latest. In 2016 we lost the 1st leg of the semi at Poole by 12 points, it was all square by heat 8 of the 2nd leg Edited October 13, 2022 by Call me wolfie
eric i
This should be a belting meeting, nicely poised. Think Belle should win thanks to Ringer Lambet.

You seem obsessed with blaming BV and Lemon for defeat when P'boro were the best team across the season and deserved to win the Play Offs. Belle Vue were simply beaten by the better (best) team. Lemon was at least partly to blame he made the wrong decisions and Rob Lyon made the right decisions. Peterborough also had issues with r/r for Ulrich and Craig Cook guesting for Hans.in the home leg and Lewis Kerr in the away where he scored one point! I don't many would have had Peterborough as favourites.

They were able to cover for Kerr in the first leg as everyone chipped in and then got paid eleven for Ulrich R/R at home, that was the beauty of their team last year. Even Pailin got paid eight in the first leg. The Etheridge R/R didn't work out for Lemon at P'boro but in fairness he'd scored paid five from his first two rides. Peterborough thoroughly deserved it last season, no shame in losing to them in the final.

They definitely deserved it and it is a shame the same riders didn't perform at the same level this season for varying reasons.Palin was terrific at Belle Vue which was completely unexpected.
