Robert did indeed get the full 15 against Ipswich whereas the last time they rode at the NSS, Max only got 14. Bloody Aces, strengthening up. So he hasn't had a max all season! You would have thought with his name that was a given! Lambert got double the points Max got in the GP circus. Form can go out of the window on the night, or a crash / EF can affect things for either side! BV got spanked the time I went but I do expect Lambert to ride well with the caveats of the above Absolutely better than all of them but five years of not riding somewhere versus riding it regularly (for two seasons for most of them) will be a leveller. Just hope the action is better than last night!
topaz325
I have the Aces as slight favourites but it’s going to be close I think, both teams are strong at home, will be cheering for Belle vue as I have visited about 6 times this season ( from the north) . Potentially may not have got that if Doyle hadn't broken down in one of the races they met. Edited October 7, 2022 by foreverblue

According to updates it wasn't his best night, he shed a chain on the second lap in a tac sub ride and then was left at the tapes in heat 11 Which would have been against Fricke. Both will win the home legs comfortably but who will win by the most. Sheffield will start as favourites belle Vue have 29 years of hurt sheffield never won a top flight league. There can only be one winner. Hopefully it’s a good final for the neutrals ticket sales before they even announced are good so could be a sell out Monday. Or close to Sheff don't start as favs..how many times to have been told

Chrisdonnelly
This will be a close one. Sheffield will run us close at NSS within 10 points. I think sheff will comfortably win at home and sneak it over 2 legs. Hope I’m wrong but can’t see BV doing at owlerton

On paper we should win at home by much more than 10, but we have to factor in Belle Vue's poor play off final performances and it is something we have to get over. I'm very nervous but also believe we are as good as Sheffield and are capable of winning the title. I think that the I would be most concerned about is Tom Brennan, he has had a couple of nasty crashes lately and his form has been a bit unpredictable but he has had time to rest so hopefully he will ok.
bellevueace
I think over the two legs Sheffield will come out on top, i just think they will ride our place better than we do theirs, the reserve positions could also be telling, Norick can score well at home but away? Mountain has been impressive around the NSS and will certainly go well around Owlerton. Charles cant afford to start off with a couple of poor rides like he did in the semis and hopefully Tom is fully over his Glasgow crash which affected his form last Monday. As for the Lambert factor just let him go and look to pack the minor placings behind him, he cant win meetings on his own, obviously i want us to prevail but this is the play offs and we all know Belle Vue dont do play offs dont we? Law of averages and all that?
