Peter Adams a notable exception to that rule - probably along with Middleditch, Rossiter and Boocock the most capable club team manager of the last 30 years. Don't think he was ever a rider. Rob Lyon and Stewart Dickson also not too shabby for non-riders

How dare you - that`s me done with this forum :D

Middleditch rossiter and boocock all were former riders as was Colin Pratt.

Everyone needs to start somewhere, perhaps best to give Aex Brady a bit longer than a season and a half.

Brady is more than capable, the restrictions for him to prove his worth are clearly financial.

It's also why I believe Rob Lyon is one of, if not the best in the business.

The thing with Adams, Middleditch & Rossiter, they'd always been financed by a 'Sugar Daddy'.

The financial support for Adams from Van Straaten has fallen off a cliff.

Best team managers currently in the Premiership are Lyon & Stead by a clear distance

Wolves are currently well ahead of Belle Vue. Perhaps this will be the norm for meetings at Monmore Green this season & Lynn's performance there wasn't so bad after all?

Maybe. Its a puzzler though as on paper Wolves look bang average. Perhaps their home advantage is that strong.

Even "poor" Wolves teams over the years have had strong home performances..

I can't see anyone beating Wolves at Monmore this season judging by the 2 meeting i've watched.

Especially as they can improve their team on an adhoc week by week basis..:D

Lyons main success at Lynn came when they were dominating the old premier league and had top sides which wouldnt of been cheap.

Granted nobody expected Pboro to win the league two years ago but Middlo has won a couple of league titles with Poole with a suspect team whilst nobody expected Coventry in 2010/11 ish to win it that year they did either.

Looking at comments on the Pboro thread looking likely Ritchie Worrall going to be available it’s opportunity to dump KK

If Worrall is the best the Stars can find, then god help us. Be better if the management showed some real ambition and signed someone like Lindgren, or Huckenbeck, or really offered Rob Lambert a deal he couldn’t refuse.

If the rumours on the Panthers thread are true, and they replace NP and Worrall and Lindgren and Tungate, and we get Worrall back for KK there is gonna be some well peed off Lynn fans..Including this one.
