Or pick it up for free

And completely  fook up your season,  putting the fans through this crap, to save some " chump change". Now that's a real passionate Panthers fan for you !!.

So, really you have no business credentials, yet are happy to criticise him for for his "very limited business acumen". And what exactly is the financial mess at KL? Have you thought that Buster may need to liquidate some of his assets and/or move actual cash into the club, to dig the club out of the mess it has clearly been left in? This is not the work of a moment.

The "incompetent fool Chapman" has kept Lynn in business for over 30 years, and saved Peterborough. This is not speculation or hear-say it is a fact. Yet many on here want to see him out of the sport... and for who? Nobody is queuing up to buy these clubs, there's some show ponies who are talking the talk, but when push comes to shove are not walking the walk

Good luck with that then, Chapman has said publicly he hasn’t the money. Which probably means he doesn’t want to chuck money down a big hole that he’s created. It’s a bit like the arsonist trying to slack out his own fires!
The whole situation is an embarrassing self inflicted shambles and if it wasn’t so serious it would be a joke! Just when you think it couldn’t get any worse it does. What the tv company and other stakeholders make of the situation is anyone’s guess. Sure they won’t be happy and laughing.

Tomalin said he wanted to buy PB pre season, and still wants it apparently. £40k is "chump change" to him , " just one of his cars"  it has been said. As a big Panthers fan, who has built an "empire" his words,  he could buy it now. After all he could probably buy it with the sponsor money that he apparently hasn't paid, after falling out with Buster.

Short term that’s all well and good. It puts out the immediate fire but any business needs to be profitable to survive and to thrive. He gets bored/frustrated and it’s back to where they all end up.

He was going nothing at Lynn, his words. Alex Brady was running the show. Alex pulling out created the situation at Lynn. Buster is trying to save the club.

He said that he was passionate about PB and was a winner. Did he really think he would be able to run PB at a profit? Not for me. It was more like a play thing imho.

There's the irony....

In that time we have had Rickardsson Gollob Louus Loram Nicholls Doyle Sayfutdinov etc

We have also traditionally had great levels of support with arguably the largest consistent attendances of any club

We have been fortunate with great sponsors even before Guy and TRU from the likes of Woodward , Sackers etc

Ipswich is currently very stable and secure but have won pretty much eff all

It could get worse if Lynn and Peterborough close , a team finishing bottom in the records that had Doyle and Sayfutdinov in the side is unthinkable really

Ok BB, so we will see BUT as the owner of KL he should not have given Brady so much power and control, a very bad move by Chapman. Similar error of judgement at PB and buying all them duff engines with BSPA emergency fund money, I could go on!!! The big problem when dealing with a proven liar like Chapman you just don’t know what is true and what is a lie so to be on the safe side you just take everything he says as a lie.

That's correct, Louis no longer owns the stadium do they? I think Speedworth bought that?

As a new owner, you're probably just purchasing the bond, licence, assets then may be £20k for the name.

£50-£70k all in

The stadium is part of Foxhall Heath, which is owned by a group of people.  Spedeworth have been the leaseholders of the stadium since it was car racing only, and Louis rents it off them for speedway.

This is correct, as far as I remember it's owned by Ipswich Speedway Limited which is nothing to do with the Witches.

And the championship pairs at Somerset

And the 4's in 2011... but apart from that and the pairs last year and the pairs in 2015 what have the Witches won since 98? :D

Only in speedway would you get a situation like this....

Ipswich speedway limited is the original company from the 50’s. They are a collective of individuals who formed the stadium.
when Deane wood took over spedeworth (stock cars) he tried to buy the stadium and did reach agreement but the deal fell through as a couple of the consortium wanted more. Deane was responsible for the extensive improvements which were very welcome including the two massive seating areas.

There is an ongoing theme here though….
