Really nice bloke who’s been around speedway for years but left it a long time ago now…so not sure if he was ever at TM level, he was the Tigers centre green announcer at Owlerton years ago. Good luck Hoggy you will defo need it.

He was Sheffield co-promoter and Team Manager until 2014 ish.

Morning update;

Laguta's been let go due to club costs & Buster will operate in the same manner as Peterborough in R/R & guests at No1 to save money as guests are cheaper than a replacement.

This could also see Tarasenko leave Peterborough as he was splitting costs with Laguta.

@Flappy @Phil The Ace

Do your work guys as I don't believe this. Things are getting totally nuts

False news based on speculation & nonsense.

Utter Farce if hes allowed to do that , also means all teams will be able to sign riders just for home matches in the future

Didnt BV get told no to Woffinden doing this ,

I’m sure if the Aces ask again it would be allowed. We know rules are bent to suit them.
titter titter.
It’s a joke for all the sensitive Aces fans btw.

More “safe” than important. Which I don’t agree with at all. I think all our tracks are safe

I don't understand the logic of Polish clubs stopping riders from racing here on certain tracks (if indeed that's happening) what happens if a rider get injured in Poland (like Luke Becker) are Zielona Gora going to ban him from riding in Poland because he keeps getting injured in Poland?

So if that's true, that's the deal Alex Brady agreed to? A complete disregard for Wolves, Ipswich & Leicester fans. This is why the sport needs an independent body, no truly independent body would have sanctioned that deal. If they don't want to compete in league Speedway, perhaps they should join the IoW and do what they do and not waste the rest of our time

Totally agree with all you've said!

Doesn't matter if Lynn signed the best team manager in the history of the sport, it's not gonna help them win meetings now is it?

Just confirmed on Eurosport that Artem will return next week. Looks like the home only theory could potentially be true

If as posted elsewhere Artem is selective in where he riders and is likely to be injured for Leicester away and Ipswich away will this lead to British Speedway adopting a squad system in the future? Benefits are you may get more world class stars prepared to commit to a limited number of meetings, giving the public more stars to watch, downside is not the same 1-7 each week, but lets be honest you very rarely see the same 1-7 ride each week as it stands.

The new team manager is a bigger troll than BassoRacingFan.

New team manager David Hoggart was encouraged by how his riders worked together in the pits

“We lost a few workshop points in the early races

“The guys rode their hearts out and it wasn’t for a want of trying.

Translated to I am just the babysitter for a team making up the numbers and are competing with the owners second club for the winner of the tallest dwarf competition

I feel sorry for the bloke tbh. He's on a hiding to nothing.

The highlighted bit though :blink:

Another buffoon at Lynn trying to take the p**s out of the paying public.

Barring a guest and a second in heat 2, their riders didn't beat one opponent between them. Instead of coming out with such garbage, tell it how it is. Tell the fans that the performance was absolutely pathetic and there are no excuses.
