We only lost at Belle Vue by 8 last time out with an out of sorts Riss scoring 1 from 4 rides and Doyle scoring 5 from effectively two rides. The problems with Riss will likely remain but you’d expect a much better return from Doyle. Again though every meeting is different, you could ride the same meeting at the same track every day for one week and get a different result every time. Belle Vue will start as obvious favourites whoever they face simply because they have a very good team who all go brilliantly around their home track. They’re not clear leaders for nothing.

Get what you are saying to me you have the top two in the league ,you we re on a good run losing Dan Thomson dos nt help he seemed on good form .rode ok when I saw him at Sheffield .Don’t think Belle Vue will have it all their own way

Ok I've bitten - spill the beans.

No beans to spill really, they've put the club up for sale signed Woffy & Chris Holder for their other club and thrown us the scraps in the way of Lewis Kerr. All of the rumoured signings earlier in the season proved to be just that... rumours

At the time of signing TW his average was too high to be considered for Lions.
Same situation with CH without dropping other riders as per Tigers & then frankly no nett gain for Lions.
replacing Cook with Kerr is an improvement for the team.

Is there any other sport that would allow 1 owner of 2 teams to happen 2 times in a 7 team league!

But Sheffield lost Jack Holder, who had a much higher average than Nick Morris, so it's difficult to compare isn't it? Leicester have been mainly stuffed by Morris and the lack of scope for replacing him, plus some riders haven't been able to maintain their points output. More of a local issue, isn't it? As for putting the club up for sale, well that's a different matter
