Your maths are spot on. What you were unable to factor in though is the likelihood that Bewley probably can't be a*sed!

But if we follow the logic (ha, ha) of the conspiracy theory outlined above, BV want Leicester in the play offs rather than Ipswich. Therefore it's in their interest for Leicester to win tonight. :P

Belle Vue shouldnt fear anyone in the play offs. If Bewley doesnt want to ride at Leicester he wont .Cant see how they wont beat Kings Lynn whoever the guest is.

Im sure Bewley stated the other week he's not keen to guest for other sides especially close to the play offs.

Perhaps Batchelor will guest for Cook in the night fixture and they'll run R/R for Lawson

There's not much that would stop me going tonight, but there are limits.

Could be better for Belle Vue to at least let Leicester get the bonus point .Better to meet Leicester in the playoffs than Ipswich .if Leicester win some will be on here claiming match fixing lol

Belle Vue have won all 4 against Ipswich, nothing to be concerned about there .

God leicester are awful

Blame lies with Morris and Dickson tbh.

Dickson has basically been on a self sabotage mission, No idea what he was thinking when making those rash / awful decisions.

No keep right... on the way to the stadium :D

Quite right (no pun intended).
The way the Lions are going, I'm hoping for a Dan Thompson return to the Cubs so I can shift my focus to a team with half a chance of doing something.

Our season finished at Birmingham on the 12th of July... and we weren't even there! The Lions have been a complete embarrassment here at Belle Vue this afternoon an inexcusable inability to get out of the gate on level terms in almost every race!

Such a shame as we looked the unstoppable ! Morris can take blame but he could crashed and got injured for all we know. Bad decisions from SD has cost us along with some riders letting him down

Live updates is reporting that the Lions are getting out of the gate and then getting passed with ease.

It wasn’t that we lost Morris as much as the way we lost him. Then SD made some horrible panicked decisions on top. It depends who you ask re whether Harris jumped or was pushed, Lawson and Worrall hate each other and everybody hates Cook. Not much to build on from there.

With the stupidity of the play offs that counts for nothing Doyle and Emil will get big scores if any of the others pull their weight it might not be that easy

We only lost at Belle Vue by 8 last time out with an out of sorts Riss scoring 1 from 4 rides and Doyle scoring 5 from effectively two rides. The problems with Riss will likely remain but you’d expect a much better return from Doyle. Again though every meeting is different, you could ride the same meeting at the same track every day for one week and get a different result every time. Belle Vue will start as obvious favourites whoever they face simply because they have a very good team who all go brilliantly around their home track. They’re not clear leaders for nothing.
