SpeedwayFan91
Picked Allen on a 4.00 average rather than Mountain on 3.38/3.39... very strange

Hopefully Connor will take up the challenge, put a point or two on his CL average, and make himself into a rider who any PL club would like to include in their team. The decision also may have taken account of the potential to win heats 2 and 8 on a regular basis, especially at home. Again, SD may have concluded that Allen or Sedgemen are more likely to provide race wins in these heats than Mountain. flagrag
I think it was Connors from around Leicester that was the concern for not using him in the PL. Connor himself has openly admitted that he likes the Leicester track more when it’s slicker and less dirt on the outside. Unfortunately for him Bomber,Richard Lawson and Nick Morris have signed on the assumption of Stewart creating a grippy deeper track for them to race on. Dan T also prefers a deeper track too.

Yep that’s right Thomson had a great year in 22 another good ausie Queenslander , Allen had his problems , scunny thread best describes this, hard to raise av in heat leader positions when coming back from a wrist injury , Thomson no doubt will get a crack at some stage in 23 if good enough, team managers pick best team possible it’s that simple
Lenny Lion
Good signs from Justin Sedgmen , Finished 4th in the Oceania Final . The line up was very strong. The meeting was won by Adam Ellis with Doyle & Woffinden 2nd & 3rd respectively

After the lad that finished 5th, it’s a bit of a stretch to suggest that was a strong line up. If he hadn’t beaten the rest of them that would have been a concern……

Happy Hunter
It's interesting to see that there's no mention of the dates for the Jubilee Trophy Final against Poole in the Lion's fixtures published today. Does anyone know when they might be?

This Inter-league Challenge ( as it now is) is expected to be to start the season.

The only way to complete the Jubilee League would be using last year's teams, so the riders who qualified for the final, race in the final! If you allow guests to strengthen Poole / weaken Leicester then it can surely only be a challenge match?

Chris116
They can't be sure of when it is possible to run until the Championship fixtures are published. Both teams will be waiting for both leagues fixtures to confirmed before announcing a date only to be forced to change it.
