It's usually the riders that like riding the boards that struggle due to the banking and shape of the track. Seen bomber plenty of times run out of room and having to shut off before at Leicester. But once you get the hang of it it can be a very entertaining track to watch cause it's a little unpredictable at times. Especially with the kids Bomber seems to be a master of the dive bomb down the home straight into turn 1... doesn't really matter how he goes at Beaumont Park though as we'll be racing our matches at King's Lynn next season, seeing as though it is our "home" track... and Bomber loves Lynn

Think he is our weapon away from home. If we get Worrall or Morris at 4 then they will take a lot of points at home especially if bomber isn't on it. Bomber 3 Morris/Worrall 4 is a great duo
IainB
It'd be interesting to know who is assembling the team, SD or the Bates?

I know last season's team was all Stewart's but the season before with proctor, bates etc was partially the bates.

Col
A team of Fricke, Harris, Lawson, N Morris & R Worrall don't have much scope for average improvement but I would think they'd be solid enough to finish top 4, they just need to perform in the playoffs then. TTT
2nd signing coming up. Should be Fricke considering Poland have already spoiled it lol.

I'd take that . Top 4 win our home meetings and have hope in the play offs is a good season for the lions

But Brennan, Flint & Mountain the successes of the RS scheme may struggle to get a team spot now they're ineligible for an RS berth.... which doesn't really make the scheme work does it? Col
The only issue with Fricke is his hopelessness in heat 1! I don't know how many 1-5's Belle Vue conceded in heat 1 with Fricke & Etheridge but it seemed to be a weekly occurrence! After that he's great. Big Al
Might be wrong on this but I think he rode at Leicester towards the end of 2011 season for an Edinburgh team, which would have been among his first public appearances on UK tracks - unless I'm getting him mixed up with a different Max? Yes, he rode as a guest at Leicester some years ago and I remember being impressed. Perhaps someone can remember when it was.
