No.6's include riders like Kerr, Jakobsen, Rew & Brennan. I don't agree that Mountain isn't strong enough to be a number 6, as he clearly has potential. While he could be the lowest averaged number 6 in the league - that means the team can have a stronger top 5, it's not like anyone is suggesting using a 3 point Mountain if a club has 5 points available! 4BenMoran
Connor held his own at reserve for Sheffield and would be able to handle the number 6 spot. Regularly won heat 2 home or away and picked up plenty of scalps in heats 4 and latter heats

Didn't he go on to be a successful engine tuner under the guise of Finn Rune Jensen? I dont think it was a week ~ more like a match. 3-0-3-0. I used to hate that.

Always a big disappointment when a rider starts with an unexpected win but then can't repeat the performance or runs a load of last places. We know there are reasons for it, but all the same it's a downer!!
Hamish McRaker
Things have gone quiet on the Leicester team completion front. Is Connor Mountain in or not? Is he good enough and ready enough to step up to being a No 6? He seems like a six and a half to me. Is that good enough to carry the extra points scoring responsibility with a very inexperienced No.7 under his wing? He's got an ideal chance now to really kick on in the CL, and if so could get plenty of guest bookings in that league.

Falcon1983
What do the lions fans think about Allen & Mountain taking the last two slots in the side?

Id be happy with that. Allen will look to improve on last year's average for sure and mountain is a asset and the fans like him.

FishersGate
Sedgemen and Allen are lions
PowerfulPierre
Sedgeman and Allen it is. Shame to see Mountain miss out.
Hamish McRaker
Probably the best selections. Mountain should be a shoe-in for 2024.
Teromaafan
As good as any other team's 1 to 7 I'd say.
foreverblue
Good team Sedgeman rode well for Sheffield, not sure Allen is a good signing though, would have thought Mountain a better choice.
TTT
Good side that. Better than Belle Vue's imo. I'd place Leicester just behind Sheffield as things stand.
spt82
I've mentioned this before on previous threads, but how are so many posters on this forum not able to spell Sedgmen correctly? Not exactly important but it just annoys me! Edited December 13, 2022 by spt82
RideHard
Glad to see Justin get a premiership team he was class for us at reserve. Good luck to Allen too feel like he had a tough one in 2022 and is a much better rider than his average. Mountain surely going to get a ride somewhere? Hope I'm proven wrong but Allen is hardly one for the future and only seems to have gone backwards in the last few years and nearly didn't come back one year, so you have to question his commitment/ambition I don't know if something has gone on behind the scenes but Mountain has hardly figured for Leicester since being signed in 2018
szkocjasid
Gotta say after a good start to team building Leicester look weak at the bottom end now. Sedgmen did well as a reserve, bit don't see much from him in the top 5, while Allen was horrendous in the Prem last year. Pretty dissapointed Connor Mountain hasn't got a team spot at either Sheffield or Leicester!

Allen is currently better than Mountain, but if have used Mountain on a lower ave to have a stronger top 5!
