Poole v Leicester v Poole play off final 21/22 October

I asked this question & was told These were the original dates intended by both clubs but the BSPA & Eurosport both didn’t want the Championship play off final to run in the same week as the Premiership play off final so the follow week was agreed with both clubs .

"Agreed" - sound from that more like they were "instructed". In which case Leicester may have a valid claim to financial compensation for the costs and income loss?

That’s a massive improvement. Looks like the Poole track though a little slicker. Not surprising considering the weather due tomorrow. Feeling confident this will go ahead.

Come on Pirates, no mistakes. Back to back titles. We deserve it.

That's definitely not "down to the base".

There's a fair amount of tyre packed material on there, probably more than you'd see at the dust bowl with the ruts at Poole in 5 seasons.

Nice bit of material for those who aren't gating tarts to use if the weather plays ball.

The only similarity to the Poole track is shale on the outside and grass in the middle

Even though there are now no coaches coming up,( there were three full coaches) will be lots of Pirate fans taking a day off and making the long trip north to Leicester. We are congregating on the first bend to cheer the boys on to back to back titles. The NID boys will also be there. (Never In Doubt) If both teams ride to their potential, the title is hopefully coming south again.

If Lions pull back the deficit and go on to win it, well done to them and I will be one of the first to congratulate.

Lets hope there’s plenty of hard racing, some controversy, ad a result that will have enraged some and pleased others. As long as Poole are on the right side come heat 15, that’s all that matters. If not, then we woz robbed!

Lewy, you need to get back down to Poole. Plenty of dirt on the track, perhaps too much at times. Track has been great thanks to Terry the track man.

Why do you deserve it you didn’t finish top of the. League. Bit arrogant that isn’t it.

It doesn’t matter how much it rains in the next two days if the track has now been bladed off to base. Thursday and Friday are dry days. They can put a dressing down on Friday morning and be good to go. No reason now why this won’t go ahead.

If these pics are recent then the track is not bladed to the base at all. There is material on there..

... and it'll probably be called off again!

Heavy rain again tomorrow night, then clear until tapes up. Will be interesting to see how the riders get on as no doubt they'll start the meeting.

I'm no track expert but I've been around long enough to know that you can't lay a track on the day of the meeting and expect to run a double header on it. Cardiff is laid days in advance and look at what a mess that is.
