No win situation IMO. I think track covers would have worked on this occasion(s)... numerous times we had overnight/morning rain clearing by 10 am, time to remove the covers and prep a track (at this time of year) I would have thought... but the damage had already been done. The man (person) power in putting them down and taking them up may have been an issue though

It just seems that you get rain through out the day, then it clears to give a nice evening, i admit that's not always the case
HGould
Track covers are not the holy grail Water can seep underneath making track patchy and dangerous. Water can come from underground making it similarly patchy High Southerly winds this week could mean very labour intensive job to get down and take up and tether How do you work on track with covers down. It's an absolute joke to be trying to run this now. The Champions are Leicester and the Runners Up Glasgow. The League Table does not lie.

Haven't seen any mention from Leicester speedway saying they will use covers, as you say covers can cause problems too. If you say the Champions are Leicester and disregard the play offs then surely you must disregard the Premiership play offs too and make Sheffield champions.

Pirates Of Poole
It looks like Buster has worked his magic and got the track back into shape! Think he will be required on Friday too to stop any last-minute issues depending on amount of rain over next 4 days! So, will Howarth be available now and will Morris be in the side?
