I don't think that is true, they wouldn't cancel a meeting just because they want to hold the second leg.

I was told the same thing that Poole would still host the first next week if Friday is cancelled. But with Leicester now running the Premiership Pairs on Tuesday & a double header the following Saturday I can’t see how they plan to run it.

1st leg should have been held tonight, Poole's traditional race night, the night they "had" to race, the race night they relegated themselves for... just because nobody wants to watch them and watch the footy instead should not be a reason to not stage this leg tonight

you're riding elsewhere? Fulfilling a fixture that has long been scheduled?

Have you got a TARDIS? Are you the new Dr Who? :D

Haha. Seeing as you and Trackrat love the weather talk. Google got rain from 5pm, Met office 10% chance of rain, AccuWeather say rain and thunderstorm with 60% chance for today.

Good job it not on today. Poor Dan would get a headache trying to work out what to do! He also said crowd would be down by a third, so if you want to pay the loss of income Iain, I am sure they would put it on! :D And you could send extra people to work in the stadium that would be needed? :t:

Lions at Poole looks an interesting way of putting the team out. 1. Nick. 2. Connor.  3. Richie.  4.Kyle.  5. Dan.  6. Max.  7. Joe.  Why are they doing that - especially 4 and 5?

Dan at 5? Richie should be at 5 surely? I can understand Kyle at 4 as in H14. But then Dan should be at 3.

You've lost the last three, yet a win tonight would still have taken you top...

Crazy league. Coventry bottom with five defeats and Blackburn top with seven!

I'd blame @iainb personally. After all he asked why it wasn't being done today. Then a few of us got sidetracked by the football lol.

:o

Something to do with Poole staff & fans preferring PL Football to CL Speedway...
