Dan Thompson hasn't had many good meetings at Poole except when at reserve so putting him at 5 is asking a bit much but then putting Scotty at 4 is a plus for them, both look like mis matches, looks like Leicester hope it will work in their favour overall. I could understand it at Leicester but at Poole just seems crazy to me. Means they need a heat advantage in H3 to cancel out a potential reverse in H4 and so on through the meeting. I agree the Thompsons are good at their own track but usually poor at our track also has to be said that the Cooks are good at home but usually poor at Leicester so who knows. Big call Dickson is clearly prepared to sacrifice at least three heats. No.5 is partnered with reserves apart from heat 13.
