A pragmatic solution from a neutral.

Award the  p off trophy jointly - with Poole holding it for the first 7 months and then Leicester the last 5 months. (as a proportion of the points scored in theonly leg completed) Come next season no one would given a fig who won it anyhow.

How about awarding it to Leicester?

We had our home league programme completed by the 24th of July it took Poole until the 18th of August. We had our pay off semi done by the 24th of September, Poole the 2nd of October... everybody has spent all season waiting for Poole, now they have to wait a while for us they don't like it!

Unequivocally Leicester are champions, they finished top and scored the most points.

Playoff winners Poole, as they have come out on top in the playoff knockout competition. As in  the football league the champions of the division don't take part in the playoffs because they are champs. So blindingly obvious and fair.

Why should Poole agree that, all teams signed up knowing whoever won the playoffs would be champions

If Poole were in the position Leicester are in right now, you know very well this thread would be double the pages it is now

Why should Leicester agree to move it to a neutral venue? All teams signed up knowing its a 2 leg final at each-others tracks!!  Again give me a suitable suggestion that doesnt benefit Poole

Perhaps next season they should bring in a rule that if a postponed fixture is not run with the next 7days(Teams have alternative race nights)the points are shared and the fixture not rerun.Too much blaming the other things at times when it is rider availability that causes the real delays and fixture chaos.

And then a hassle for Season Ticket holders to get a refund for all  matches not run.....

This happens every season nice and simple whoever is top of the league once everyone has completed their fixtures are champions not exactly rocket science.

agree no cups just play everybody twice home and away winner is the team that finishes top

Poole then had to wait to get the quarter final with Plymouth done
