Yes, and I would be very surprised if the information is incorrect, but I don't want to say who,  sorry.

Hopefully all will be revealed shortly

We will see. But it has been discussed in various Polish articles over the winter that Emil, Artem and Kudriaszow (unfortunately now retired) would only be granted permission to race in Poland due to having citizenship there as Poles.

For the FIM to backtrack on their previous stance re the banning of Russians would be surprising to say the least. Are you saying something has changed?

Every sport will backtrack on the banning of Russian athletes eventually, Just a case of when and not if it happens imo.

Can't ban Russian sportsmen for the next 5 years just because of Politics.

I agree. But I'm asking only because I follow this pretty closely and haven't heard or seen any evidence to suggest it's going to happen any time soon.

source high up in a uk club, with vast experience of the inner working of speedway, I would say source is a very reliable one, as the other bloke says they cannot be banned indefinitely, something had to change at some point

Interesting that you have a total of 16 posts and the vast majority are about confirming both Sayfutdinov and Pedersen for Ipswich and Peterborough… Hmmmmm

Great news for British speedway if true.

Not so much for the rest of the Premiership......

I think fans of every club should be happy tbh.

Our league hasn't been held in high regard around Europe for a while now, Getting as many big names back as possible will only help British Speedway re-build it's image.

Attendances will improve, More people will buy streaming passes, Better product for the fans, More sponsorship chances should open up as well.

About time we took our rightful place on the Speedway ladder again by being referred too as the second best league in the world.

As I said yesterday, the random post out of the blue from someone who hasn’t posted for an awful long time, and the posts he did make are all about Leicester and none on Ipswich or Peterborough until yesterday, makes it more believable to me. I can understand the scepticism because this has been going on for months now and here we are approaching March and we’re still doing it but the chap seems sincere to me.

It’s a bit like Mr Blobby the Edinburgh fella who hardly ever comes on the Premiership section who came on here and said Ipswich had signed Keynan Rew. A fortnight later Ipswich announced Rew as their latest signing so there’s no doubt people do get genuine information and it’s not all “rumour” and mischief making although I appreciate you get some of that as well!

It would be class to see Emil line up alongside Doyle, heats 13 and 15 will decent, still would leave me worried at Reserve though

Heats 13 & 15 will be decent??

Apart from coming up against Bewley these will pretty much be dead, unless they end up racing each other

If Ipswich have managed to get Emil signed then it can not only good for Ipswich but good for the league as well.

I would question how race fit Emil is and I think that you have to remember that he has not raced for over 12 months.

As for his average I would imagine that he will come on on an 8.00 average, which will leave Ipswich with around 4.27 for the final rider.

Who will be that final rider?

My guess is Cameron Heeps whose average is 4.18.

If that's true Ipswich will have an 8 point advantage to defend in the other 13 heats. A weaker reserve pairing wouldn't be such an issue
