Don’t think the money is great at all in Sweden nowadays, several riders not paid etc. crowds over there have been dwindling like mad last few years

I think alot is also made about the UK being miles behind polish pay, riding in the UK can make riders more money in Poland

The UK isnt a great payer but if its covering the costs of riding in it and there is a profit left over that offsets the costs of poland so you make more money

The biggest stars of course make more than enough to not have to use the UK but thats not too many

If a case of if they can be bothered with the schedule and i guess risk of injury that would screw the polish money anyway

Looks like money isn't an issue this year,,, so it's gonna be a gp rider or ex.  Cheque book speedway is back.

This puts pressure on Louis to get one nailed now though imo. Things very rarely stay private and confidential in this day and age and he will know full well what is getting leaked through numerous sources. Announcing Batchelor and Worrall would no longer cut it and he knows it.

I read on a Polish site that British clubs are paying more money to riders this year than in previous years hence why we're seeing a few big names being strongly linked with UK returns.

The Swedish league isn't as stable as it use to be either which is helping UK clubs attract bigger names.

I’d say that also puts pressure on him to deliver success. A league title is long overdue, and if he’s being backed like it seems he is, he has to deliver sooner rather than later.

So the Emil rumour continues, is this something that is seriously being looked at or is it just rumours?

Id it doesn't come off there is a go rider who needs to do something different in my opinion as he has gone of the boil over the past couple of seasons...... Tai?

I know for a fact they are actively trying to get the Emil deal over the line. He’s keen to ride over here this season so we will see

It can't possibly happen. Russians are not allowed to race anywhere. As he has a Polish licence (and citizenship) he is allowed to race there, but he absolutely won't be allowed to race in the UK, or anywhere else as his Polish licence won't cover him anywhere other than Poland.

Partly correct.

Any Russian national that had global citizenship elsewhere pre-2022 are free to work anywhere in Europe.

Any non UK citizenships taken up by Russians from 2022-on are suspended from UK employment but work permits can still be applied for. The process could take up to 6 months to approve, providing they have no historical links to working for the communist & / or current Russian government, this includes all family members.

What is "global citizenship"?

What I stated was correct. There is no chance for Emil to race anywhere other than in Poland this year.

You're partly right.

Emil can be granted a work permit, it can only be approved directly by the Prime Minister & / or Secretary of State for the Home Department & take up to 6 months.
