I can see how successful cam will be over a season on press and practice day.  If he has more than one chin he will disappoint.
he is extremely talented but also lazy. When he knuckled down he was brilliant but he is probably 2-3 stone overweight for a speedway rider.
imagine putting a 2stone weight on Doyle’s bike and see the difference that would make on his results !!!!

i honestly thought having Doyle in the team would inspire heeps to be more professional but he obviously can’t be bothered to put the effort it.
very sad as he could be so much better.

Like been said he's got the talent when he takes it seriously, 2 or 3 seasons ago Heeps spent pre season training with Scotty and came into the season looking trim and fit and it showed on track but sadly it was a one off, he's still young enough to turn it around but it's up to him to be more professional about it all.

In professional sports the margins are so small, there is a reason why Laguta, woffinden etc are built like racing snakes

Hoping we have gone for it and we have Emil though he would be box office im not sure how good he would be at Foxhall to be honest but id sooner have him then two 6 pointers , as im not sure that would drum up my interest to go more

Is the hold up potentially Emil only wanting until May. This seems to be the thing with many Exstraliga rider's not wanting or being allowed full UK seasons.

I think other than Doyle the club needs a box office signing to maintain interest. Otherwise in the current economic people might just find other things to do. After all if you keep using the same tea leaves time after time eventually the brew is crap!

Mountain better than Hume on big tracks, Hume a lot better rider around Foxhall so in terms of ippo the better option imo.

interestingly Hume averaged a point more than mountain in championship last season but mountain half a point more in prem…inflated by the home scoring at Sheffield I’d imagine

Interestingly, Mountain’s Owlerton average was about 0.6 higher than his away average. Hume’s Foxhall average was some 1.6 more than away.

However, I hadn’t realised that Hume was stronger in the Champ, which is fascinating. To me, Hume never really looks in control, whereas Mountain seems more complete.

Most of the difference in their Championship scores was down to Hume riding half his matches at reserve.

Very little t9 choose between them, I'd be happy to have either of them in any team I supported.

It is possibly trying to persuade the FIM to allow him to ride here. Arguments in his favour will be put forward such as having Polish citizenship (his wife is Polish) and residing in Poland since 2009. Whether this is enough remains to be seen.

You can probably rule Mountain out cos I’d forgotten about his stint with us as someone else pointed out, he just couldn’t get round Foxhall and was axed mid season if my memory is correct.

Yeah i mentioned it previously, he also didn't score that well when he rode at Foxhall this season with Sheffield, 0 from 3 rides and 3 from 3 rides looking at the scores from this season just gone, he might score better then Hume away from home on certain tracks but probably not round Foxhall.

Yes you would be better with Hume.

But those won't be a 3 point average, with Hume you can have better riders the main body of the team

But we don’t need a 3 pointer. If we signed a 3 pointer we’d have over 9 left for a heatleader, we’re not signing a 9+ pointer. Baldyman has listed some good talent who would come in on a 4, on the basis of signing Sayfutdinov on an 8 point average.
