First off, i hope Rew has a speedy recovery

But that track cannot be fit for purpose.I know you've gotta have a screw loose to do the sport, but surely any rider with a slight bit of common sense should have took one look at the standard and put their bikes back in the van? It just screams an accident waiting to happen, I know riders want to keep sharp over the winter but racing on that is beyond stupid.

What do you think is wrong with the track?

Safety standards in Aussie are crazy low, air fence been mandatory over here for how many years now? 15 or more at least

hopefully it’s not as serious as first feared and he’s swiftly on the mend

Someone said on Facebook he got a lift back to the pits in a golf buggy sitting upright so might not be that bad ?

Yeah didn’t holder and buster have a bit of a falling out years ago ?

Yes they did in Kings Lynn v Poole league match, after a couple of incidents on the first bend, Batchelor withdrew with a very minor injury to his hand which recovered quickly enough to ride in his next scheduled meeting and Holder refused to ride because of what he considered was an unsafe track. Worth pointing out both riders were riding for Kings Lynn at the time and his brother Jack rode the track well, Poole went on to win the meeting.

I know 100 percent they have been in talks with him, I have been told today by a family member of a very experienced speedway rider that the deal is progressing well if not done. Obviously time will tell

To be fair to you, it seems talks have taken place, but didn't realise they had progressed to the stage they were still ongoing with Emil, so many rumours, but on previous replies to you on this Emil topic saying it was false, I will say talks have taken place, but that's as far as I heard Louis had got.

On Worrall, who knows, on Keynan Rew, devastating for the lad, hope it isn't as bad as first thought, but he will surely now have to be replaced, which complicates things even more, but Connor Mountain surely comes into Louis's plans at some point.

Does that look safe to you...

That picture only shows a very small part of the opposite bend to the one where the crash was. If you view the full bend, you’ll see that there is loads of run off space. The track is also used for moto x or flat track racing and they use the full size.
As far as the crash is concerned, from the commentary, I take it Rew is in yellow. If that’s the case, I doubt an inflatable barrier  would have made any difference as it wasn’t hitting the fence that caused any injuries. It was the way he laid the bike down. The impact would have been the same had he hit either the existing fence or an inflatable barrier.
In my opinion

I don't know who Ipswich are after,, but it can't be both Worrall and Emil,,, cos that don't fit

Maybe Worrall is the back up if they cant get Emil haha

If Rew is ruled out then about how Thomson at Edinburgh read elsewhere he deseeves a shot at the premiership

If the final 2 slots were a combo of Worrrall/Andersen/Batch then Louis has a few spare points to get someone in above Rews average

Solid fences and sandbags should have no place in speedway in 2022...

I suggest you watch it again, he follows his bike into a wooden fence, that’s what’s caused the injury, to say an air fence wouldn’t have helped is ridiculous

Freddy Lindgren walked back to the pits at Belle Vue in 2017, it all depends what feedback the rider gives the medical staff

That's correct. If my memory serves me right he rode the next day as a guest and i think he top scored. Rule No.1. Don't try and pull the wool over Busters eyes.

Don’t think the takeover happened in the end. Tungate isn’t in the side but they have Andersen for sure. So it’s either Craig cook or Richie worrall

Tungate is in the side. It's either Worrall or Andersen for the last spot
