Wow.  ..Massively deflating, all remains now is Batchelor and Heeps and Hawkins and Louis have all there mates.

I am going to build a Title winning side Louis said, mugged us all again.

It has 7th place written all over it, hope I'm wrong and he has plucked something out of the bag, would Adam Ellis fit if 6th rider is Richie Worrall.

No Ellis would be 6.72

No Emil then with the signing of Riss. Won’t fit now or will he???

They'd go bust mate.

British Speedway doesn't get the attendances to have an Elite 1 & 5 pairing.

Paying customers on the night don't turn up for regular league meetings if the weather forecast is dodgy and they don't turn up for meetings that are televised either.

True but Ipswich do usually get good crowds and if you had Doyle + another top rider I'm sure a few more would be turning up most weeks. We started so well with Doyle and promising prospect in Rew but what do we expect. Worrall been at Ippo before and he didn't do great in a poor championship league

Worrall is in the “does a job” category along with his brother and Erik Riss. Steady Eddie’s who will finish the season on a very similar average to what they started. Every team has and needs them, problem is we look to have too many and another is not what we need. Having King as second heat leader and the main support to Doyle isn’t strong enough and won’t be good enough, simple as that really.

I understand some negativity on Adam Ellis, my point was could we have Ellis if Worrall is the 6th rider, as if it is Worrall and Batch, we look doomed, and least Ellis would give me some hope.

It may not be Worrall, it maybe a Barker type average coming in allowing us a bigger average as the last rider.

But I fear the worst over next couple of days

Yes worrall would be fine if we didn't have King and Riss but if we're going for 4 middle average riders then we're going to be falling short again

I could be wrong because I don't have any ITK info, I'm just going on my own personal opinion and I find it a really tough sell in today's day and age even though I do hope he's at Ipswich as it'll be good for British Speedway in general.

Cost of Living going up and 2023 ticket prices will go up could even see a drop in attendances next season imo,

Just for example say you get 1,000 people turn up for a Home meeting but 600 of those have paid for a season ticket in advance, Total paying customers on the night would be 400 and that figure wouldn't come close to covering the cost of Doyle/Emil on a weekly basis.

They wouldn’t be relying on the crowd to pay for him they’d be relying on Guy Nicholls.

Might have half a chance then if Guy Nicholls is prepared to pour money into the club.

KK is costing Lynn 20,000k apparently so god knows how much Emil would cost.

I can’t for the life of me understand why Ipswich and wolves are  going exactly the same way they did last year. Surely the idea after failure is to improve????

Wolves fans always had to cope with 5th from bottom as a good achievement under Bridget & Parker, but had an invincible #1.  We've just got used to it!

As long as Cradley Heath finished below us it was a good season. :D

I think they run a tight ship at Ipswich due to possibly Chris and father taking a wage,,, only guessing there,,,, so possibly less money left than some teams to make big improvements to team

Don’t get the fascination with Ellis either tbh. Decent rider yes, but inconsistent and frustrating and no better than King who many sighed over when announced.

Perfectly happy to see King back - he tries and doesn't give up - he did adopt some off racing lines last year when trying to get points from the back ie outside line - for all thiose saying certain riders give up when not first he isnt one of them!
