Arch Stanton
Or £19.23p a meeting if the ticket is used for every meeting. I paid £205 for the ticket last year but I think that was 12 meetings so a meeting less. Even so that’s still a hefty increase. Still transferable though which is a good thing. I missed a fair few towards the end of last season through ill health but gave my ticket to a good friend who otherwise wouldn’t have been able to afford to go so I was still happy I brought one and felt I got good value. Still looks decent value from the point that the on the gate admission has gone up to 22 quid, but overall you have to weigh up whether the overall increase is worth it to you. Was expecting a quid increase as everyone else has put theirs up too, but a couple of quid increase is risky from them. Can understand those that will now knock it on the head or pick and choose a meeting here and there instead of going regularly. Im personally going to wait for the remaining team to be revealed. Needs a plum signing I think for me to get another season ticket.
blue witch
Exactly that if they go riss batch and richie then I doubt they'll be selling many at all and I'd definitely pick and choose my meetings. If they have a proper heat leader to back up Doyle then it could be worth the money. I'm sure we will all be disappointed in the coming week
Falcon1983
Unfortunately its going to be Riss, Batch plus One which means no big hitter For me at £22 might still go as long as kids are still free but what it will do is probably drive away that younger fan base who have to transition into adulthood, who love to go for free but once it comes to paying these type of costs they will fall away and spend the money in other areas My daughter would now rather ME save the £22 and put my savings towards her ITFC season tickets which are over £100+ each so guess my Speedway may well be reduced out of the teams named so far, I would likely go and watch a Bewley race against Doyle, wolves/sheffield/leicester don't interest me although I will be going to a Leicester away meeting - still wait to see what Lynn and Pboro are offering, wouldnt mind seeing Jakobsen at Foxhall again so maybe I am back for between 2-4 meetings only missed I believe one last season
Baldyman
I said I wouldn't pay more than 20,,, so I go for a season ticket,,,, but only if its say Emil or Holder,,, anything other than a top class no5 and they won't be getting a penny out of me,,,
Arch Stanton
Just looked at other clubs prices and Wolves have by far the best value. £265 for a ticket book of 15 meetings, making each meeting £17.67p a meeting. It does say though it covers all League and Cup meetings, no mention of any individuals or fillers. So if they don’t make the play offs and get knocked out of the cup at the first hurdle, that’s only 13 meetings so what happens to the remaining two tickets? I would like to have enough spare income to go every week,,, but times are hard,,, the nurses want 19 %,,,and deserve it, but I've only had 50p wage increase in 10 years,,,disposable income has never been lower

We use 1 for Olympique at end of season and other for probably a challenge match at start.
Falcon1983
70% of me think its Batch, Riss + 1 3% of me thinks it could be a big hitter 27% of me thinks Louis and Ritchie have 4 names and 3 big question marks on paper not having a clue what to do
Bagpuss
The idea that another marquee signing will happen when an enormous chunk of the budget goes on Doyle is optimistic at best.

Something has to give...think many will vote with their feet. Can't see many paying out for a season ticket without knowing the full team. Have to catch up with speedway mates other cheaper ways in 2023

TTT
TJ confirmed for KL Can only mean Richie Worrall to Ipswich along with Erik Riss imo.
TTT
Think it's obvious that Ipswich' final three are Batchelor, R. Worrall & Riss Allen -> Leicester NKI, C. Holder, Basso, B. Cook & Jenkins -> Peterborough Ellis -> Sheffield Only other riders left who would be available to ride in the Premiership from the 2022 season are the following. Matej Zagar 7.20 Rohan Tungate 6.61 Craig Cook 5.05 Hans Andersen 4.93 Jye Etheridge 4.76 Stefan Nielsen 4.53 Connor Mountain 4.51 Justin Sedgmen 4.44 Ben Barker 4.42 Cameron Heeps 4.18 Danyon Hume 4.09 Paul Starke 3.53 Edited December 12, 2022 by TTT
