I hope it's version 1 but more likely to be version 2:(

I think it's team 2 as well for a number of reasons tbh.

Main reason being Doyle & Emil as a top two would be financial suicide in this league for any team imo. Attendances wouldn't come anywhere close to covering the cost of those two in the same 1-7.

Playing devils advocate here...

Very clever to use a big name that is very unlikely to happen with 1. Cost and 2. Being a Russian.  Then promotion can go to plan A of Doyle Batch King Riss Worrall Rew Thomas. Then say " look we tried but not allowed with restrictions. We really did try... blah blah blah . Here's the team we are allowed though"

Or maybe a rabbit (or Russian) will be pulled from a hat....

Not sure they’ve got anything to gain from doing that. Quite the opposite in fact! Getting people’s hopes up with a huge name and then doing a Jim Bowen with “look at what you could have seen” and then revealing Riss and Worrall (with all due respect to them) is not gonna get people rushing to buy a season ticket.

But where's the Emil rumour come from.... not from the club, but they then can say, "sorry we tried."

Have seen this in past so sorry for being sceptical....

Maybe some extra sponsorship money is on its way,,,,to help  with these riders

League must have secured a big sponsorship deal or something where every club is getting a big financial boost.

The names being linked to British clubs are very expensive Elite Superstars.

Is it this Speedy?

Was posted today but it just refers to Barker being back in Speedway with Plymouth, not Ipswich. Not yet anyway!

I obviously didn't read it close enough!
