It's a poor side I agree but it's impossible to build a realistic title challenging 1-7 when Doyle takes up so many points.

I also factor in the Louis/Hawkins loyalty picks into every side I put together.

The first comment, I disagree. Doyle's average is about 27%, and he scores that many of the Witches league race points, and is highly likely to continue his high average.

The second comment is the problem that many agree with.  For Doyle's class contribution to reduce percentage-wise in a winning team, it needs the others to improve ... while the usual suspects don't appear to have that improvement in them.

On a related note, about the Oxford line-up: I had to smile when they said Heeps is on a bargain average ... 4.33 achieved at reserve ...

To be fair I can understand why they’ve said that. Heeps averaged 6 and a half in the main body of a Premiership side as recent as 2019 and there were some pretty strong sides in the league that year. His fall has been pretty spectacular sadly and Oxford are clearly gambling on him returning to something like his old form. I’d certainly take him on 4.33 if we were in the Championship..

Apparently he is too old to be a RS, and that's why he is not returning to KL. All through the grapevine stuff.

He's only 23.Next April he will be 24.Thought Josh Bates come in when he was 25.
