You will be lucky if they have just put £1 on the Admission prices.

At Sheffield they have put the Adult price up from £19 to £22.

Ours will almost certainly go up as well then I’d have thought as Leicester have just announced theirs at 21 quid. Might go down the season ticket route as for the first time in donkeys years, this years was decent value.

Can’t expect prices NOT to go up unfortunately. Literally everything has gone up. Box of Maltese’s used to cost you a quid in b&m a year ago, it’s now 2 quid. Cost will have gone up for the promotions too let’s not forget so an increase is to be expected. They have to still pitch it right obviously, but it’s a shame that some will unfortunately not be able to or willing to, attend like they used to.

There are a few on steals,,, Wozniak, Lidsey, Lebedevs, Woryna,,and prob a fair few more I can't think of off the top of my head

Three of those highly unlikely to ride over here I'd say and the other will only be at BV if he does. Maybe Ippo is the Prem club Rew has signed for?

Difference is plenty of people will buy Malteasers at one or two pounds regardless, speedway doesn't have that luxury. Perhaps they think only the die hards are left and they would pay whatever was charged!

I'm sure they would all ride here if the cheque was big enough

If Rew has signed for Ipswich,, I think that's a good signing,,, but from what I've been reading,,, most fans want Hume

I won’t! That’s a 100% increase! I always popped in and grabbed a box now and again as I pass the place on my way to work. I now refuse to pay 2 quid for somethings I paid a quid for weeks earlier. They went up overnight! Like a lot of other things.

Speedway is different, an increase to 21 quid from 20 isn’t anywhere close to 100% increase is it, in fact it’s minuscule. Don’t really understand anyone happy to go and pay 20 but refuse to go at 21. We don’t yet know what the Ipswich prices are and it might in fact be more than a quid increase. Sheffield’s price hike of 3 quid though will certainly test a few that’s for sure!

Why do Maltesers always seem to taste better in the box form than the bag? I mean, they’re obviously the same so maybe my mind is playing tricks. Or perhaps I’m just a weirdo :D

Oh and I won't pay 21 over 20,,because when it was under 20 I said to myself I would never pay more than 20,,,i would rather spend that 20 doing something else I enjoy,,, it's just spending my money on a different form of entertainment.  I wouldnt spend more than 20 on a few games of snooker when it gets to that price.. Everything has a value point,,, and I think speedway will now be over that.  That's only my view and I'm sure some would be happy to pay 30

100% agree there as well! Always used to love the big glass bottles of Corona as a kid, cherryade a particular favourite. We used to have an Alpine drinks van deliver around our way too back in the day, big glass bottles of pop. Them were the days

Pepsi out of a bottle for sure

As for the price of speedway i think £20 is about right as its a single note, but saying that if i knew i was spending £400 a season on speedway across 20 meetings and they decided to charge £25 and do less fixtures I'd probably still go as in my head I'd be spending less money overall

Doubt I'd get a season ticket unless the club introduce a Klarna pay in 3 deal

The point is speedway is struggling to get people through the door for many reasons, putting the price up ought to be the last thing they do. I appreciate costs are rising for clubs but just sticking the price up and hope people keep coming is poor. About time they thought out of the box, or better still explore all the space inside the box they haven't yet bothered to use!
