Don't think you can have a Rising Star guest from another Premiership side so that would rule Edwards out of any future guest appearances unfortunately.

Didn’t Jenkins guest for Lynn last night though? Admittedly not in the RS position, but seems ok

I'm pretty sure if you need a guest for your rising star, you have to pick a rider from the rising star list but not one who is currently in a teams 1-7.

Why didn’t the Witches sign him as their RS to replace Thompson? Hawkins had stated they intended to use him for the remaining fixtures so that would have been the obvious move.

Ipswich could guarantee Edwards 2 matches.... but would have to ask the question

Sheffield a few more matches... and have asked the question.

Probably because as soon as he's fit Dan will be back and also how were they to know Sheffield's RS would be injured, and need to be replaced  Jason was booked as cover for Dan not replacement surely.

Ipswich needed Edwards for a minimum of 4 matches, 2 this past week and 2 next. There’s no guarantee Thompson would be fit for the cup final and rushing him back would have been a risk.

once again sitting on their hands has cost them

I think we both end up on 34 points. We SHOULD beat Lynn away to take us to 34, while Leicester SHOULD beat Lynn at home. Can’t see Leicester winning at any of Belle Vue, Wolves or now Peterborough, but unless things go drastically wrong, they should pick up 2 bonus points from Belle Vue and Peterborough putting them also on 34.

Is it the “for and against” column that then decides who finishes above who? Because that’s also incredibly tight as it stands. Ipswich +32 Leicester +30

Anyone know the circumstances of wojdylo dropping at pboro? Is it just simply the chance to get Laguta in? Or is he injured?

id be drafting him in for Erik immediately if he’s available, rider in the up instead of the down

28 day visa has expired apparently and its not being renewed, he'll be hot property for 2024

Wouldn’t fit even if he was available. He’s an assessed 5 and Riss is now sub 5 so wouldn’t fit as a like for like. Swapping them and re-declaring the 1-7 wouldn’t fit under the 39 either.

Thought Riss went backwards again on Thursday evening. Was making some electric starts but was then looking tentative and very slow and was swallowed up time and again. Managed to hold on to a paid win in his last, just! He’s been riding better of late and there were positive signs so it was disappointing to see him struggle again Thursday.

Ah fair one, I thought he was 4 hadn’t even looked being honest haha!

erik nowhere near his old self, makes starts rides his one safety line round the inside of its enough to hold position he does it won’t move out to block someone or go round a slower rider in front of him
